What's New in Color Mate

1.2.2

May 21, 2017

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. New: – Added the 'extra precision from images' option in the settings; when turned on, after extracting a color from an image, the values for the color will have a higher precision (more decimal places) – When extracting a color from an image, the maximum 'averaging pixel size' is now larger than it used to be Fixed: – 3D Touch quick actions are back!! They were originally added but accidentally broke it for non 3D touch phones — then accidentally removed them when fixing it again for non 3D touch phones – Teleporting bin in the saved colors

User reviews

Love this app!!

This app is truly a graphic designers best friend. Is there any possibility of making a version for android phones and also adding new features that can also include Munsell m, focotone, Pantone and paint and materials color palettes??

Doesn’t work

Downloaded this just now on iPad Pro and it’s stuck on one color and appears unresponsive.

Scientific Uses

Great app! With some massaging of the data it can be used for colorimetric analysis of laboratory tests.

I have been using this app for a long time.

I use this app when I create liveries for cars. Quite often I have to convert a color from an image to something that I want to use on screen, or I have the color code and need to convert that to the screen. I quite simply could not do what I do without this app.

Not sure what this is even for

I now understand what this app does it (although I’m not sure of its practical application). It certainly didn’t do what I bought it for, which was to convert the colour profile of a photo from RGB to CMYK (as required by a particular online printing service). If it does do this, then I don’t know to access this feature.
