A fav app to add unexpected color
I love this app. Spin the dial and you will find such unexpected, yet beautiful color combinations. Color Thief can take a prosaic image and bring it to the wild side. I have used hundreds of filter apps. This has been one of my keepers and is part of my essential tool kit
Definitely does nothing
I paid on a recommendation but the app did no alterations. It has nothing in it.

Previous Version 1.2 was soooo much better!
Hadn't used this app for a while, but came back to it and realised it's not a patch on previous version. It used to be possible to switch back and forth between images at top and bottom, applying colour from either to either...shame coz it was an outstanding 5 star app.
Please update and revert to previous format, with ability to switch colours between both top and bottom… it was so incredibly useful! 🙏

Waste of money
No instructions, nothing. Doesn’t work much either. Tried a sepia photo and a colour one… the colour one stayed colour with orange streaks. Some kind of instructions would be helpful.
It WAS wonderful!
I have found no other app that does this color-matching. However, PLEASE update it! We are on iOS16 now and you have had no updates in 5 years!
Miss this app
Would love this app to be updated, I’m actually still using an iPhone so I feel it could be done for older iPhones at least. Best app I’ve ever used. So so much fun to mix and match two images. So quick and easy but infinite possibilities. Giving a 5 star review out of respect for how amazing it was

One of my favorites
Thank you to the developer for keeping this wonderful app updated. I live in fear that at the next Apple update it will be gone. Echoing other reviewers who also loved the app, I use it all the time. I like to design fabric patterns and it’s great for creating different colorways and coordinating new patterns but I also use it for fun, just to see what one of my drawings or photographs would look like in other color combos. I’m planning on making a handmade book based on the color blue, so you can imagine how handy this app will be to change an image to work with that theme.
I hate to ask for more features on such an easy to use app but it would be great to be able to fetch from folders. I have to scroll through tons of images now. Also, I really miss an early feature, missing now, where you could tap and trade the "host" image with the other one - if that makes sense?

The only thing missing
The only thing missing is video and if they could do albums so I could find pics easier vs. going through all pics to find my fav ones faster:)

Such a Unique and Rad Tool
I wanted to say thank you so much to the developer of, Color Thief, for this wonderful application. I think it's truly such a unique concept and that it makes creating new filters for photos a really exciting and fun experience.
The possibilities seem endless to me with being able to add new color schemes to your photos. So many apps and games today are just straight up copies of other existing apps and games. But, with, Color Thief, I believe you've created a one-of-a-kind application and tool. Congratulations on that ingenuity and creativity, it's a rare thing today in my opinion on the App Store.
Also, I cannot stress enough how grateful and thankful I am to the app's developer for being rad and for not using disgusting in-app purchases or subscription plan garbage with this app. Developers like you are always a huge winner 🏆 in my book for not being scum and for not utilizing that crap with your apps. You're a dying breed and again I cannot tell how grateful and thankful I am to you for actually being ethical and moral in selling your wonderful application. Thanks for that and God bless.
Oh, and, any new apps you come out with, assuming you still sell them for one single price. Well, I'll be first in the proverbial line to purchase any of the new apps you release. Blurs pictures
This app takes the quality out of your image and makes it fuzzy and not as clear. It does kind of get the colour scheme to match to another picture but there’s no point if you can use the picture after because it’s fuzzy

Crash on launch
Previously this is been one of my favorite apps. It’s an awesome way to match the color and tone between two photos. However, since the update I haven’t been able to run it. It immediately crashes when I try to launch it.
Also, I have a feature request. How about the option of generating a LUT after two images are color matched? That would be an awesome feature.

A Jewel!
Stumbled on this App, and I am glad I did. It's simplicity and ease of use are secondary to the unique and great colorization tool it really is. You basically can colorize one photo with the color palette of another photo. And it does it so well. Worth the price, and I am shocked that this App isn't at the front of the line amongst all these color splash like Apps out there. I love the effects you can achieve!
