App got worse
Previous version was great showed traffic all over the state. Now it only showes traffic on interstate. And interface is more difficult to use. Why would you “update” something that is working fine, to make it less useful.
Response from developer
We switched from using Google Maps to Apple Maps, and the two have different approaches to the traffic overlay. Apple will only show the overlay on roads when there are problems, whereas Google Maps shows an overlay for every status, good or bad. We find the Apple approach much friendlier and easier to see issues.
Color Scheme is Terrible
I don’t get it. The color scheme the developers chose is beyond frustrating. Why can’t they use green-yellow-orange-red? The map is interactive with alerts. The color for wet roads is nearly the same color for icy roads. Brown means windy? What if it’s both? This app is total garbage. Take some hints from Wyoming’s road conditions app. Color the road appropriately and use the touch alerts to explain the caution(s)

Response from developer
We try to use similar colors as used by the website maintained by CDOT. In some cases, consistency is more important than aesthetics. But we will try to pick more rational colors in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
Legend needs to be updated
Looking at the map and there are circles with a dash. I click on the legend button and there’s no sign associated with this. Does it mean the road is closed? No idea!
Response from developer
Unfortunately, these items on the map are automatically provided by Google, and we can't remove them. This is one of the reasons why we are shifting away from using Google Maps

Not reliable
App is not reliable. Stopped for an hour on I70 and app shows no issues????? Did not update tunnel closures , major power outage. If info is not accurate and up to date, then app is useless
