What happened?

I purchased a full version a few years ago. Now that every app is turning into subscriptions, my app no longer works why because they want me to buy it again, bad business plans, very disappointed. For this that my app no longer works. I would’ve given him a zero but it won’t let me.

Best update yet!

Thanks! The update that started saving all my colors when I quit the app was nice. But now having multiple sets of color samples with names is exactly what I needed.

Cursor is off on iPhone X

Measures 1/2 inch higher than the cross, but it works

Good app

Just what I needed.

Okay

Fine as far as it goes, but it only picks up colors from the camera. If it can’t pick colors from existing images, it’s not all that useful to me.

Well designed and very intuitive

Beautiful simple and effective app πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Helpful app

I'm not sure why nobody has left a review yet. I tried it and found it very helpful. I use it to find the right colors when I'm painting.

Doesn't work

Doesn't average across a sample well, flips around too much to give a clear reading, and wrongly identifies colours with alarming frequency (brown as black, light brown as grey, for instance)

Meh

The color readout isn't accurate. It's close, but the RGB/CMYK value it shows is slightly darker when I test the color in Photoshop than the color it shows on my phone screen.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I reproduce artwork and was looking for an app that I could use in conjunction with a controlled light source to define various colors. Color Assist has all of the features needed for the task. One of the best features is the exposure/white balance/focus lock button. Without this feature, it wouldn't work for my needs. Thanks for a GREAT product!

Too many nag windows

I can put up with one out of five nag windows per use, but this application puts a nag window up every time you use it. Great marketing plan, annoy the user until he either pays you the dollar or deletes the app.

Very good. Needs aperture and exposure

Very good. Tells colors and codes.
To be excellent it needs an aperture to reduce the jitter in the colors described.
It especially needs an exposure to reduce the analyzed light since my attempt to get any colors from a computer screen just washed out to white.

Perfect!

At Lowes - needed a sample & CMYK. This is did the job. Great, great work. Thanks!

Thank you!

My teacher discovered this app. I am partially color blind and was having a hard time figuring out what colors he was using. Thank you for making it easier to do my assignments!

Cool!

This is a cool app. Slightly buggy, but fun to play around with.

Missing core feature

You cannot set aperture size to average the colors within the square. It jumps around too much because it is probably taking a single pixel value.

Amazing

Simply amazing for the price of free !!

Excellent app!

A great idea, particularly for people with color-blindness but also good fun to see the colors being named real time. Cool!!!

Wow! Real time color

Fantastic little app for those folks who are both color impaired and always taking a SWAG at the proper color name. Perfect for the average guy!
