bug fixed

Ugh

It keeps crashing and deleting my drawing

Pretty ui, terrible brushes

The brushes are all basically identical.
The only differences are the alpha and size.
No textures, no Apple Pencil support, nothing!
That must be why the store page doesn’t show what the brushes look like in use. It only sows the pretty up!
Would be 2.5 stars if Apple allowed half-stars,
but it doesn’t, so I have to be “nice”

Much better, but...

ColorBox still has some visual graphics anomalies remaining in some of the media drawers, but these anomalies doesn’t affect functionality and actual don't look too bad and gives you a slight peek of what is actually in the drawere

AND I still do not like how your Sketches pad app ONLY works or presents its UI in portrait mode.
I would like to see a landscape mode/oirentaion for this app and the UI, also, if possible, ot course.

Also, one icon looking sideways and one looking vertical, when launching the app, just looks weird and appears like a mistake.

Overall, I am glad the big thing with the canvas was fixed promptly.

Thank You!

Import pictures

This really needs import pictures feature. That would make this a 5 star app to me.

“Pro” - ha!

Don’t be fooled that you’re getting anything remotely “pro”. There are a few sets of coloured pencils and markers (and some things called “waterbrushes” which seem to be nothing more than highlighters), with names that are supposed to suggest their intended purpose, and a set of 24 wide-tipped felt-tips, the colours of which bear absolutely no relation to how they appear (e.g. the yellow is definitely chartreuse, there’s a bright pink that’s anything but, a green that’s brown (can’t even call it olive, it’s just brown) the orange is a sort of terracotta, and there are 4 blues all of which are exactly the same shade (navy)).

Tapping the box in the top right corner is supposed to open the box with pencils, erasers (which don’t erase, they just sort of make things less visible, but there’s no undo function so they’re the only way of correcting mistakes) and save/delete.. it does - eventually - but you seem to have to tap it at least a half-dozen times before it does (most of the time, it opens the pens and pencils drawer, just like the button in the top left corner.

They’re divided up into 5 ‘drawers’, but I found that tapping the same drawer didn’t necessarily get you the same sets, it seems to be completely random and because they’re in sets, there’s plenty of duplication.

There’s rudimentary Apple Pencil support, but no palm rejection; the drawing area is very small, doesn’t scroll and there’s no zoom, either. It’s fine for a kid to scribble in, but even the most patient kid will find its randomness frustrating, but to call it “pro” is disingenuous.

Still, it IS completely free, and in the short time I tried it, I didn’t see any ads, either, but even at the price of free, there’s really nothing to recommend it, it’s just a horrible, horrible mess.
