Bugs in old magazines
I was wanting to look and probably buy some of the 2019 versions of the magazine however, when tapping to view, it sits on load for every pre 2019, 18 and further back. Then I tried App support and the page doesn't open except to warn me of spam..

I think this was a great magazine marred by poor customer service. Last published magazine was published last year so it appears they are no longer active in any case. Now I’m prompted to log in to view my many purchased magazines but cannot log in. I had a major gripe with this company years ago but decided to bury the hatchet. This time I’m done for good.

Online subscriber, but can’t look at my purchases
I subscribe to the magazine, which is brilliant, but I can’t login via the app to view ,y subscription or magazines. For me this is an utterly pointless app.
No support
I have purchases dating from the present going back years, the app stopped accessing my magazines I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no success. I have sent a request for support but have heard nothing and am unable to access my publications.
Follow up
I managed to find the problem, I read another article on DNS causing problems with the suggestion to tether to my mobile, I tried this and it worked, now I can access my backlog. The DNS seems to have cleared up for this particular issue.

Still Not Working
Like Susan3388, I have exactly the same problem with the app on my iPad. Two years later and it still doesn’t work. Love the magazine, but hate the app. Is it not designed to work in iOS? If not, take it out of the App Store, please.

I’m really frustrated with these digital issues, I pay for a subscription and then it still wants to charge me every time!

It’s disappointing to find the app does not link to the website. The downloads I have on there are not available in the app and vice versa.
I can’t import them either from the app into my iPads files as I can with the website downloads.

Doesn't work
Can't get magazines I paid for. Then I subscribed and that doesnt work either. Won't sync between phone and iPad. Log in credentials don't work. Looks like a great publication if you could get to it.

Mag Subscriber but can’t sign into App
I subscribe to this magazine, & I can buy PDF back copies online for $3.99 but with the App you have to pay for each magazine or a years subscription view through the App, you can’t download them to keep. The online account is totally different to the App account, I thought I could just look at all my online purchases in the App but I can’t. I love the mag, it’s great, but the online account/subscription is different to the App. I prefer the online account with PDFs to keep forever in my iBooks.

Love the magazine but app on iPad is terrible
As a digital subscriber, I was really hoping to read the issues I purchased on my iPad instead of my computer, however I cannot for the life of me get it to work properly. I try logging in multiple times and it says I have ‘invalid credentials’. I know the user name and password is correct because I can access my account on my computer. When I download a free issue on my iPad, I can log into my account briefly through a ‘purchase’ screen, but then I cannot access my subscription or anything I have downloaded. I try logging in again from the mail login screen and get ‘invalid credentials’ again. It is beyond frustrating and I hope the app is updated soon so I can view my year long subscription which started in November. I keep trying every few weeks but no luck. Very disappointed.

Terrible app
I cannot open issues I paid for in the app—it doesn’t recognize my paid subscription through Apple. I am told I don’t need to sign it if I use the app, but have to email them to try to get the problem fixed. Super clunky and feels like they don’t keep up with Apple updates.
And, if you subscribe through the app, Colored Pencil Magazine doesn’t recognize you subscription on its website. So I can only look at my issues on my tiny phone—not on my computer.
Worst app ever.
Bottom line: do NOT subscribe through this terrible app. Go to the website so you can view on any device.

Informative magazine
I love this magazine! It is very informative and a must have for any colored pencil artist, no matter what level. I look forward to receiving my subscription every month and have never had any issues with the app.
Unable to login
I am unable to login to the app although my login and password work just fine on the website. I’ve tried email and username.

Over charged
Was charged twice for January 2018 issue. Both copies are displayed on my screen view. Have not heard anything from company after two tries.
Stopped Working
Worked initially from June 2017 but stopped working 2 days ago. Have lost ALL magazines and very unhappy. Do not use this app!
Already a subscriber
Already a subscriber and there is no place to be able to show that I have already paid for it. I don't want to pay for it twice.
Horrible app.
This is the worse app I have ever come across. It has never worked properly from the beginning. Can't open new issues until a few days after the first of the month. I could pay more for a print issue and have it in my mailbox 10 days before the first of the month. And forget about finding past issues that you have already purchased they disappear in cyber space somewhere. Then they want you to pay again to view them. What a joke this app is!!!
The magazine is awesome and I don't want to miss one issue. If I can't get the magazine digitally without going thru this app I will pay more and get it sent snail mail which happens to be 10 times faster than this app.

Great Magazine
I love this magazine! Excellent content for colored pencil artists! Tutorials and interviews of established artists in every issue. The only thing missing is pages and pages of ads!
As far as the actual app, I've encountered a few minor glitches such as 'failing to connect' which would resolve itself.
