Simply put this app is great. I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to complement the work Micheal has done. The app takes a bit of time to learn how to use it, but once you figure it out it’s a joy! Tip: every thing you need is under paintbrush icon. Just go left or right to find all different options.

I'm terrible at colors, but the app is great!
This app is very helpful identifying colors - once you figure out how to get to the picker. For me, I hit the paintbrush icon, which brings up color sliders, then hit the right arrow to get to the picker. It allows using a photo from your library, or taking a new one in the app. Then move the image around to center the color you want. After that, the app appears to flash through various colors, honing in on the one closest to what's in the crosshairs, showing color family and name as it goes. Great!

New Update: Lost all my favorites
Went in to the new update and realized all the colors I had saved before are gone. What is the cause of this? I not only have to get used to a new interface, but lose all my previous stuff. And I was just hyping up the app to a coworker.
I think I like it but asked me in the first 30 seconds of using it

I got an idea
Hello. I’m a sophomore and I want to be a digital artist and fashion/self care blogger when I grow up. I just came up with an idea: What if you could create folders or sections for your favorite colors to make a color scheme? It would help with creating a color scheme for your character or help you find an outfit with a certain color scheme that works out.
But this is a great app. I use it to find colors that I love, and it’s really helpful when you need to find a good color.

This is definitely something I already had in mind as an addition to the app. However, I don’t know when exactly it is coming, as there are many cool things queued up. Whenever you come up with more ideas, you can always use the feedback form to get in touch.
I use it every day
This app is one of the best tools I’ve found for quickly storing, logging and discovering new colours. I use it practically every day and each time it surprises me with what it can do. Not to mention how many features are added with each update.

Die App ist für mich bei meinen Design-Projekten ziemlich hilfreich. Da ich schnell neuen Farben entdecken sowie passende Nuancen finden kann. Zudem ist sie sehr übersichtlich und durchdacht gestaltet.
Macht Spaß die App zu benutzen
Die App macht aufgrund der Ästhetik und sehr intuitiven Bedienung richtig Spaß. Gerade wenn man häufig mit Farben zu tun hat schätzt man die zahlreichen Möglichkeiten der App sich mit neuen Farben nach dem eigenen Geschmack inspirieren zu lassen, immer zusammen mit passenden Akzentfarben oder Abstufungen... Gerade wenn man Designs erstellt kann die App sehr nützlich sein.
Nur zu empfehlen, da hier offensichtlich jemand viel Mühe hineingesteckt hat die App sehr sauber zu programmieren und ein cleanes Design zu entwerfen ohne nervige Werbungen oder so.

No website , no support , no email in App.

Terrible app
Such a waste of money. Comes with literally zero directions. For example, how do you import a pic to grab a color from it, as it advertises??? Waste of money.

Hello CMilnes, thank you for your feedback. I'm aware that this feature is currently quite hidden. To import a picture, please open the Add Favorite screen in the app and select Choose Photo. Here you can tap (or tap & hold to show a magnifier tool) on any area of the photo to grab its color. I'm working on an update where the color picker will get a more prominent place in the app & will be easier to understand and use.
