Rest in peace to the best simple recolor app. This is so bugged and won't work no more for me. I left the app open all night /10 hours straight waiting for a color photo but it never happened

Used to work, now it gets stuck on “colorizing.” Just… stuck.

Let me be clear. I do not know the developer of this app and these are my thoughts. I am usually a pain in the beep when it comes to apps. Lol. You have to REALLY impress me to leave a review. This app, is one of the greatest apps I have ever used. I can’t tell you how much it means to see photos in a new light. To see re-see pictures that you can see in your head, look completely different in color. Rich colors. Also, it was nice to not have a $150 subscription to use this app. I downloaded it last night, have “fixed” I don’t even know how man pictures and I’m completely addicted. Lol. Seriously, one of the greatest apps I’ve ever used. Do not hesitate to download this app. Thank you for your hard work, Bao. Well done.

Best on mobile
Honestly this is the best you will find on mobile and free with ads to boot! While oldify seems to be the best on the market right now with coulorize on desktop, this ranks best on mobile. I like to test them all and throw my hardest photos at each. This app is 50/50 on portrait outcome but landscapes it’s outdone even the others I’ve mentioned on a rocky landscape I gave it. Most can’t even process that one. Look forward to see what your ai does in the future.

I’ve used this colorizer for maybe a few months now and I’m loving it a lot! This is the best colorizing app I would ever use in my life! 5 stars! :D

I like this app, when it works, it works fine.
There is a problem, though, it won’t give me a copy of the picture I just had colored. How may I get a copy?

Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work!!! Dots just spins and nothing happens. Used to be a great app. So disappointed.

As to be expected with an AI, some photos don’t turn out as great, but because it is free and easy to use, (and DOESN’T request your credit card number like other reviews say) I give this 4 stars.
Outputs low res
This will only save a very low resolution version of your photo. So it’s fairly useless in this state, free or not.
Keeps saying timed out
My picture keeps saying timed out in the middle of colorization what does that mean?

Fairly good colorization results on many photos, but the saved image is reduced in size and resolution, making it unusable.

The AI could use improvement and maybe a manual adjustment feature (some areas are sometimes missed) other than that it works great!

So i tested several app and tried them on a 'hard' old scanned pictures. This app gave an amazing result! Amd it's free!

Works great! Appreciate that it’s not trying to charge me some crazy subscription rate pricing which I wouldn’t pay anyway. Happy to watch an ad if it means I can colorize photos.
Does not work
I tried several B&W photos with no result. At most, the AI placed a filter on the photo. Worthless.
