When initially tried the app, I couldn’t get past their advertisement for the paid version. I am now able to go past the advertisement and colorize a photo, albeit with a watermark on the photo. It is also necessary to watch a video advertisement to be able to save the colorized image. It should not have a watermark if users watch an advertisement. At least the watermark is stylish. It looks like something a professional photographer would use.
The very expensive paid version only allows five colorizations a month. I originally gave the app only one star because I couldn’t do anything with it. I increased my rating to three stars because I can use it now and it usually does a reasonably good job at coloring old photos.
The app chooses which colors to use. They aren’t always good choices. For example, military uniforms are standard colors. The app will use colors other than the uniform’s correct colors.

There is NOTHING that can be done with this. It is nothing more than an advertisement. There is no demo mode or any way to see what it can do without buying it. For $60 a year there are plenty of other apps to choose from. Don’t waste your time downloading this advertisement.

Hello there. Thank you for taking time to use and review the app. Thats not true, app has no demo. You can use the app without paying at all with a watermark on the photos generated. For the paid version, you will not see a watermark or watch ads, unless you run out of credits for the month which is 5 as you mentioned. Alternatively, you may subscribe to Premium version for unlimited colorisation without any ads. Also, i noted your point about the quality of the watermark. Thanks a lot! Amazing app, and incredible customer service
This is a very clever and simple to use app. When I had a small problem uploading a photograph, I emailed the developer (not really expecting a response), and they replied almost immediately and sorted my problem out straightaway.
I’ve never reviewed an app before, but the customer service has been so amazing, I felt the need to! I’m very grateful to the developer.

Good App
This is an surprisingly good app. Does more or less what it Says on the Tin and it’s very fast.
Inaccurate results
I was quite pleased to be able to colourise some old family photos.
Then I decided to test the accuracy.
I took a modern colour photo and changed it to mono. Saved it. Then used this app to colourise it. The colours produced were so way off. Pale blue on the original was colourised as pink.
Not impressed.
It’s a bit of fun, but don’t fall into the trap of believing the results are accurate.

Doesn’t work once paid
Worked fine until I paid for monthly subscription and now the app closes as soon as I open it so I can’t make use of my subscription- feels like I’ve been conned unfortunately
Very good
Considering it’s free if you’re ok having a logo and watching a short ad, this app is very good. Not perfect, and not as good as some that cost £30 a year in subscriptions, but still very, very good. Some photos work better than others (not worked out what it is, but possibly pixel number) so don’t be disappointed if the first one isn’t great, try another.

I want my money back, please.
Okay so I only spent enough for one photo, but it promised no ad while the photo was processing, no watermark, and better quality. So I paid for the one photo I wanted, and… got an ad. Once it was ready, oh look, a watermark! And was it better quality? No, it was the same as any other. I did not get any of the things it promised, and I deleted the app right away. Can I have my money back?

I have tried a number of different apps for coloring old black and white photos with varying degrees of success, however this one in my opinion is the best. It is very easy to use, if you have lots of photos ( I have approx 10,000) it is easy to find the photo you are looking for to colorize by using the inbuilt search facility. The cost compared to other apps is good and what’s more if you do have problems, the owner of the app is quiet helpful. I think it is only fair to point out that, what ever app you are using, you are colorizing an old photo so do not expect the quality of that achieved by today’s high spec digital cameras. I understand that the algorithm the app is built around Is constantly under review.

I came across this app by accident, and downloaded it thinking it might just be a limited cut down programme. To my pleasant surprise it did everything I could have wanted, and produced very acceptable results on most photographs.
Occasionally a yellow tinge on some, but many others quite breathtaking in quality.
And a FREE programme.
Developers say a Pro Version is on its way, and I will be fasinated to see what extras that contains.
But no hesitation giving this FIVE stars.
