Great idea, brilliant execution
This game is an example of a fantastic idea that was implemented with care and love and becomes a near-perfect product as far as I'm concerned. The rules are so diverse that it feels like 5 or 10 grid-based games in one.
It's clear that the developer has put a huge amount of effort into making the experience great for the user. Double tapping clues or waves feels so smooth and satisfying, it allows you to spend minimal time actually "solving" the puzzle physically so you can focus on the logic.
The puzzles get very difficult but guessing should never be required (admittedly I usually end up restarting due to switching phones or something before getting to the final hard puzzles). Part of the way this is accomplished is by perhaps the best hint system I've seen in any game ever. It does not just tell you a mistake you made or the correct color of a cell. It tells you *why* your Xs are misplaced or *how* you would solve a specific cell. It feels like it's there to learn the game rather than to play it for you, and that's a joy to see. It's also incredibly impressive given how complex the rules are.
The sketch mode is great, it's helpful sometimes to play out a line and see if it results in any conflicts (clues are not revealed for guessed cells so you can't just play out the whole game or anything). And the monetization scheme is very user-friendly, especially for a mobile game.
