Good idea, rough start
First i understand this is an early version of the game, so here’s some ideas to improve it:
-attack power increase & attack speed should be purchasable upgrades through an in-game currency or experience system
-on that note, a progression system for Colossatron would be dynamic, players can lean into certain techniques like building the chomp meter, dealing high damage, or simply exploiting ricochet & attack speed
-adding fire, ice, electricity, vampire, or other effects from the previous game would really provide more experimentation opportunities for the player
-Halfbrick, don’t be afraid to pull inspiration from the original Colossatron, theres a reason it’s a beloved classic

Lazy uninspired clone
If I wanted to play Colossatron, I’d just play Original Game. This is nothing but a copy-paste of Galaga with nothing of the previous game Colossatron game. It doesn’t have the same charm or the same mechanics that made the original game fun. It’s like they reskinned Galaga with Colossatron and called it a day. Don’t waste your time or money on the forced Halfbrick+ subscription on this uninspired clone.

Only 10 stages that i can play otherwise the mechanics are pretty good like any other game of its genre, not anything like the original game however

It’s not the game no more boom trucks no more all tanks to the frontline no general mustache no more Katie no cores no immersion just space raiders deluxe

Good but
It’s a good game there is no Voice Acting, I loved that there was a small story in the first game and it made it more lively but this one’s seems out of place if it’s connected to the first game, no more power cores, no more military, and Colossatron is flying. I like to think that scientists have used some older model Colossatrons that were defeated by the military and used the power cores to fight against current Colossatron (that’s why there’s no more power cores). If you still care about your older games this game and the OG Colossatron would be a great place to start.

boring galaga rip off ( sorry for being harsh! )
i've never played the original colossatron but this just isn't it. the whole game is just a snooze fest and feels like a cash grab. i don't know if this will be greenlit(?) but if it is i do hope they like, revamp the whole game.
Needs more levels
Its ok, just needs a lot more gameplay since it only has ten levels. Also should add more boosts/power ups.

Self-serving new owner’s pure clone game to exploit original title
This isn’t at all like Colosatron, which wasn’t that great to begin with. Halfbrick bought the title, now attempting to monetize it as quickly and cheaply as possible. This is just Galaga, an arcade game from the 1980s, with the C-tron graphics they bought painted on.
Lame, lame, lame. And after 2 lvls, required signing up for shady halfbrick+ account, which may trigger unwanted subscription and definitely is a glitchy mess. Don’t support this lazy, cut n paste non-developer’s cynical tactics.

Doesnt feel like colossatron
Doesnt capture the charm of the original. Pretty fun for half a moment but its similar to most games of the genre with a vampire survivors element.
Not bad, but lacking anything colossatron related such as modulized attacks with a puzzle element. If you were collecting cores while playing to impact your attacks this would be amazing but that would obviously take a lot more time when it comes to programming and balancing.
In its current state a fine time waster but not up to the source materials standards.

Horrible, esperaba más y creo que todos los que jugamos el 1.
Nothing like the old colosatron
Maybe was my bad because I was waiting for a Colosatron 2 but is nothing like that, so far you cannot combine modules of different colors and the fact that on each wave your updates are reset make the games kind of tedious.
However been a free game without adds at this moment definitely is somehow good

Could have been even better
I would have preferred if the old Colossatron made it back to the IPhone App Store
