Almost Blast From The Past
If you’re old enough to remember an early Game Boy game called Quarth, this is a spiritual successor if sorts. Quick & challenging, maybe a little too cartoony and the ads sometimes get in the way. But worth a try as a unique puzzle concept
Good Now, Great If Growing
Combine Me! by Konami is a (partially) counter-intuitive puzzler, that is addictive and fun. Very easy to pick up and play, and immediately enjoy. The purpose is to use blocks to create a “block” with 4 sides complete sides, with no gaps. The interior of the block can be as hollow or whole as the pieces (randomly, and fairly) distribute. Certainly tougher than it sounds, it provides a welcomed and refreshed challenge to puzzle game lovers and has two distinct modes that mix up the madness wonderfully.
