So I’ve been using this app for awhile and omg it’s so buggy. every time I’ve tried to go and save what I’ve done. The whole app just crashes kicked me out. and when I go back into said app. Half, the work hasn’t saved itself and have to start all over.

I believe that this app is the first version of the Comic Life apps that plasq developed for the series. Since then, they have developed Comic Life 3. I bought Comic Life 3 and now I have both apps. I have to say that I prefer Comic Life 3. Although I love Comic Life in general, I feel that some improvements would be needed and appreciated. Basically, I just find the apps to be very touch and go, meaning that the slightest touch and things can run amok (amuck). I don't know why that is, but it is - at least for me. While writing this, I cannot think of anything else I could add, other than the fact that the Comic Life apps are among my most used apps for creating comics on my iPad. And I have several comics apps on my iPad.

Error but still like it
When I got out it was a completely MESS. It said error and it telled me all about it I was going NUTS.
Get my files out and editable?
How can I get my comics from this program to comic life 3 or another device?! In trays does not seem to work and I can not find any support for this feature.

Lost all my work what now?
Ordinarily, I’ve had nothing but praise for this program. I found it to be efficient and user-friendly for my needs. I used it for a period of five years on my old iPad. Recently I purchasedThe identical version for my iPad Pro. After working on it for three days I had three large projects that were ready to be uploaded to my website and print it out. When I open the program this morning I got a weird error message

When I clicked on “OK”my entire screen when black. the program com-lately stopped responding.
I’ve lost three volumes that were almost completed and ready to go all I had to do was upload them and now they’re gone! This is really unacceptable! Is there anything that can be done? I’m afraid to erase the program because I’m holding out hope that I can get my stuff back and I living in a dream?

Crashed after one use.
I’ve used Comic Life on my MacBook Pro for years and loved it. Recently got an iPad Pro and immediately installed Comic Life. Made a social story par excellence, tried to print it, share it and otherwise enable children and teachers to use the visual. All unsuccessfully - which I assumed was a technical issue on my end. Teachers said the emailed PDF file was a green screen. I wasn’t even able to send it to myself.
But I’m in a new school on a new system, so figured it was operator error.
Restarted the iPad.
Comic Life then crashed repeatedly and wouldn’t open the visual I’d made.
Tried everything I could think of to retrieve the visual and load the application.
Ended up deleting and reinstalling the app.
Boo.

Was amazing till they pulled the pin...
Released new version of comic life, suddenly this, the old one no longer works. Offered cheaper bundle upgrade...only it’s $3 more than just buying the new app???. Not good

Hi Tsunami191, We released Comic Life 2.2.2 in March 2019 which made it compatible with iOS 12 and from our testing it works with iOS 13. Great functionality but unreliable
Working with students drawing their own comic panels and using the app to put it together and add text. I like that it is easy to use. Unfortunately the app randomly opens to a string of error messages and a black screen with no way to fix it short of reinstalling from scratch. It wastes time and I’m worried about losing students hard work.
This is a pricey app for what it does and I expect it to at least work properly. Very disappointed.

Hi there. Please don't delete the app - or you will lose all the documents. Remove Comic Life from your list of open apps (double tap home button, and swipe Comic Life up to remove from your list of apps open) - then go to Settings > Comic Life > Troubleshooting > and toggle "Reset Application State". And then try to launch Comic Life again, and it should launch properly. Please contact plasq@plasq.com if you continue to have issues.

I think it is cool but the one problem is you can’t change the size or the letters and numbers.

Hi there! You can change the font size by clicking the (i) icon > "Caption" tab > "Text Options" > and adjusting the size. Hope this helps!
Awesome app
I’ve always used this program since I was a child and now to use it again but on iOS is soooo Cool it’s the perfect program and I love it ❤️. The app version is really easy to use too it may be payable but so is the desktop comic life but it’s such an easy comic making app to work with very good.

Makes me REALLY mad!!
I have to use this app for school. I went to look at one of the comics I had just finished making and I accidentally clicked the trash button, but it didn't delete yet because you have to click another button that says "delete." So I clicked on the empty space around the button thinking that the button that says "delete" would go away and I could edit my comic, but NO! MY COMIC GOT DELETED!!! I tried everything to get it back, but nothing worked. I worked so hard on that comic and now I can't get it back. I am very frustrated and that is why I will only give this app at least one and a half stars. I know u can't do that, but that is what I think it deserves. The people who made this app should really read this review so they can fix this problem. Also they should make a thing so you can see all the comics you deleted in case you accidentally delete one or you need one that you deleted. Please help me!👍
