Good content, bad app

This app is virtually unusable due to the invasive ads. It’s not just an app with ads, these ads force watch and have no way to close them. If an ad is somehow cheesed and closed, the article aggregation is good, but then another ad pops up and renders the app unusable again. What a waste!

Non-stop ads!!!

Recently watching the Deadpool/Wolverine movie re-sparked my interest for comic books and comic book films. I prefer reading news within mobile apps and this is literally the only app that comes up when searching for comic book news. I’ve used this app in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. The frequency is the ads is unbearable. I was trying to get acquainted with the updated format but couldn’t do a thing due to ad after ad just from barely scrolling. It’s a shame but I get it the business end of it.

Ads ruin a good app

Ads are a part of free apps, but this app takes it to another level-you can’t scroll through news articles without being bombarded by ads every 5 seconds….a good app ruined…

Good content but since updating, there are frequent ads interrupting the experience.

Update

There has been no update or no new news on the app for a whole week and this is very sad and irritating and would like to know what’s going on …do I need to find my news elsewhere?

Exciting to Overbearing

The ads have become all-encompassing. Now when I think of Comic News, I think of advertisements. And not in a good way either.

I used to check this daily, the mail pop up ad makes me check it way less to the point of considering deleting

Awful since the new update and ads everywhere

As stated this app was amazing and has now become an ad fest with adds popping up and displayed wayyyy more frequently than the previous version.

Used to be amazing…

Sadly, now it’s terrible. So many jumbled adds pop ups now. Just like any other app that sells out to another company just trying to monetize & nothing else. Shame

Missing pop up adds…now you don’t.

Used to be a good source of fandom stuff and news. Now a pop up add tracking service. Just made this delete easy.

Disgusting comments on landing page

This app doesn’t regulate their comments and shows them under the titles of the articles on their landing page. As a result, you’ll be treated to disgusting, misogynistic and racist comments without any way of disabling or avoiding them.

These are garbage people, don’t support their app.

Good source!

I love to scroll thru the various items as I’m having my morning coffee and bagel. It’s a great way to get the latest updates on the movies, shows and comic books I’m interested in!

My newest favorite app!

I have really been enjoying this app since a friend recommended it to me. It's absolutely full of timely and interesting content that is curated from a wide variety of sources. I'm a long time comic book collector and the folks who maintain this app know what they're doing. I'm also a huge fan of pop culture relating to movies about fantasy, sci-fi and of course, comic related cinema. All of the content is carefully and thoughtfully presented and updated constantly. It's a really cool thing to be able to get access to such an eclectic mix of content all in one place. My thanks to all of the talented and hard working people who put so much effort and research to make this app such a great way to be informed and connected. Keep up the great work and know that you're all appreciated!

Get woke go broke

They are politically driven articles that are biased and I don’t like being told what to like and what ideas I should support I like comics so leave your ideas out of it
