About

Make your own comics, from the first blank panel to a printed PDF. ComicTeller is a drawing app for making comic books. Pick a look, lay out your pages, fill the panels, and letter them with real speech bubbles. Nothing is done for you that you would rather do yourself. FILL A PANEL THREE WAYS - Draw it. Brushes, shapes, a fill tool and real layers, with undo all the way back. - Upload it. Bring in a photo or a sketch on paper and draw on top of it. - Describe it. Type what should happen and have a picture drawn for you. You see it and decide before it ever reaches the page. A CAST YOU CAN REUSE Build a character piece by piece, pose them, and drop them into any panel. Make them once and they are yours for the whole comic. PAGES THAT LOOK LIKE COMICS Ten page layouts, from a full-page splash to a nine-panel grid to a newspaper strip. Six styles - Retro, Modern, Manga, Webtoon, Noir and Sci-Fi. WORDS ON THE PAGE Speech, thought, shout, whisper and caption bubbles. Three letterings, resizable, with a tail you can point at whoever is talking. SCENES BEHIND THE DRAWING Day, afternoon, evening, night, space or under the sea, drawn to fit whatever shape your panel is. TAKE IT OFF THE SCREEN Save the whole comic as a PDF and print it. Or sign in and share it by link. TWO MODES, AND THEY ARE DIFFERENT Kid Mode is the default for anyone under 13. No account, no email address, no sign-up. Comics are saved on the device and there is no sharing, no public gallery and no advertising anywhere in the app. Standard Mode, for 13 and over, adds an account so comics sync between devices and can be shared by link. The one thing that leaves the device in either mode is the "Describe it" text you type, which is sent to an image service to draw the picture. Your artwork, your name and your photos are not sent with it. We show no adverts, use no analytics or tracking, and never sell or share anything with data brokers.
