Pre-EA Games C&C Was Amazing
I spent literally hundreds of hours playing LAN and local tourney C&C RA RA2 and YR and some Tiberian Sun. To this day those are still timeless amazing games. Then EA came along…Westwood C&C had that vibe. IYKYK..Generals had its moments, no doubt. After all they still had *some* Westwood staff that came over to EA after the acquisition. This? This is not C&C any more than Castle Clash is. It’s just another over monetized nostalgia grab by a greedy publisher. Kirov Reporting!

Match making algorithm is trash
I downloaded this for the nostalgia—I grew up playing Command & Conquer with friends—and even bought a starter pack. I regret both.
The matchmaking is awful. I’m constantly facing players with units I haven’t even unlocked yet: I bring riflemen, they bring snipers and jet-pack troops. Losing to a better strategy is fine. Losing because the other player’s army is vastly stronger isn’t competition.
The gameplay brought back memories, but the progression and matchmaking ruined it. This feels less like strategy and more like robbery disguised as nostalgia.

Good game but forced to spend money to keep up.
It’s a fun game but the ranking is too quick. Not enough of a gap in talent. Constantly struggling when moving up when playing someone that spends money. Kinda boring with the alliance. Should have more to do. Maybe bigger battles.

The match marking is so bad even for low level I’m going against ppl way batter than me which is so annoying

Always battling teams you have no chance to beat sucks. The matching needs to be significantly better

It now won’t let me sign in. I deleted the app then reinstalled and it still won’t let me sign into it. I spent some money on the game. This is not ok
Update needed
Game needs updating after recent iOS update. Will not start.
Fun but frustrating
Despite what the other reviews say, this is not a pay-to-win game. The app does pair you with higher ranked players, but only as you progress. (It’s the high ranked players who create new accounts with lower ranks to play the newbies and destroy them.) But…IT IS frustrating because some players have obviously hacked the game to start the game with more resources and/or quicker build times to quickly demolish their opponents. The developers need to stay on top of this to protect the integrity of the game or we’re all going to jump ship and find another game to play.

It’s cool for CNC quick battles. Fun to play. Frustrating if you don’t pay. All my battles after level 30 are “challenge battles” against unit levels that are twice mine which = 3x the damage. I won’t pay.

Absolute garbage game
The worst game I’ve ever played. It’s complete and utter trash. Constantly putting me up against players that are 2-3 levels higher than me, that have high level troops and there’s no way I can stand against. I’m guessing it’s so people will spend money to pay to level up, but I’m not falling for that. Don’t waste your time on this.

Fun for a Little While
Like most pay-to-play games, this is only fun for a short while. Eventually you’re consistently matched against opponents way above you in “Challenge Matches” with a note about how awesome the enemy units are going to be. You’ll not be able to build fast enough or field anything on par with what’s coming your way. But don’t worry - EA knows you’re outmatched so you won’t lose any medals towards your ranking, which totally removes all the frustration of not being able to make any progress. So you can slog along with the slow accumulation of whatever in-game upgrades you earn, or or you can pay about $10 per pack for extra credits, diamonds, and cards to quickly upgrade a game that has no bearing on your life whatsoever. Maybe you can catch a sale?

I played for a few days; at first, everything was fine and I liked it. But once I reached level 7, I started getting matched against players with ratings of 9 or 10—opponents who were practically impossible to beat. I kept trying for a long time, but eventually, I’d had enough and deleted the game. I’m very disappointed.
