What's New in Commence Training

1.0.1

October 17, 2026

New • A redesigned dashboard: your training up front, one insight headline, and a strip for new notifications. New accounts get a short walkthrough. • A notifications panel drops down from the bell. • Exercise demos can carry up to 3 clips, and a featured demo shows its caption. • Shared programme links show a proper preview card. • Dark and tinted home screen icons. • You can now remove your profile picture. Training • Each programme day keeps its own workout in progress, so opening another day never replaces it. • Removing an exercise from a day can be undone, and removing a week or day asks first. • Completing a week keeps every set you logged. A day needs at least one logged set to complete. • Rest times and durations read naturally (1m 30s, 20m). • Imperial weights show one decimal everywhere, and treadmill speed shows in mph. Exercises • Search ranks the closest match first. • The muscle filter finds every muscle an exercise works, and broad groups cover their parts. • A redesigned History tab and programme info page. Accessibility • Works at the largest text sizes, with full screen reader labels and reduced motion support throughout. Reliability • Workouts show straight away, before they sync, and offline syncing recovers from server errors on its own. • Plain-language error messages, and a copy pass over every word in the app. • Lots of smaller fixes across History, Progress, the day screen and sign-in.
