Not all candidates represented
I love this app because it is well designed and helps voters stay informed.
But.
You need to have all candidates represented. Dr. Jo Jorgensen is the Libertarian candidate for president and is on all 50 state ballots + DC. To not include all options is voter suppression.
Otherwise this is a bipartisan app, not non-partisan.

Great app, easy to use and informative! Unique way of matching your views with a candidate without the BS influence of the media. Perfect for those who don’t follow politics on the daily.

I like to think I’m on top of thing in the world of politics, but even I am overwhelmed and confused half the time. I just want to see who cares about the issues I do and better understand the issues. I know there’s probably more to be developed with this app, but if they keep going in the direction they’re going, they certainly have me as a lifetime user. Very impressed!

Really great!
I’m a skeptic when it comes to anything that says it’s nonpartisan and I’m extremely political, but I have to say CommonAlly’s first stab at working towards a clean, easy way to navigate this space is impressive. Can’t wait to see future features!

needs more organization
this is extremely helpful for young people that don’t know where to look for information because it’s not geared towards us. i want to know the candidates political party because it is confusing to navigate through the app without knowing their party. i would like that information. and it should be separated into political parties instead of scrolling and checking one by one. or put the ones who match your interests first and slowly go down like a list.

Almost really cool
I love the idea of this app as it is a quick, user friendly way of approaching the 2020 election that is very well geared toward young voters. It’s flashy and cool and interactive. You can look at all the candidates and their opinions on your top 5 concerns. You can decide whether you agree it and it keeps track of how well your views line up with each candidate. This is a really cool way of keeping track of policies and your own opinions. However, this feature is severely lacking in information. You can only view your top 5 issues and each one has only one quote and one example of their congressional voting in the past. This just isn’t enough information. One quote from a random speech is not a comprehensive display of what the candidates think. While I understand that it’s supposed to be quick and attention grabbing, I would prefer a well researched summary or just more quotes and examples from them. It’s a really cool concept and generally is well designed, there just needs to be more information.

Too little to help, for now.
The app's features feel underdeveloped and too simple to really help anyone define their political opinions. It summarizes candidates' opinions with single quotes and their most recent votes on a relevant act. These singular examples of candidates recent actions leave out parts of the description of their thoughts which really drive agreement in thought-based discussion. As is, this feature is just as useful as the televised debates, which is to say barely useful at all.
I didn't make an account, and I suggest anyone who uses the app to not do so either. There is little to no reason to do so, as the main incentives to make one is to have a profile, answer polls, and the opportunity to win a T-shirt after answering a certain number of polls. If your intention is to find more information on all the candidates and how they align with your exact beliefs, than these features are of no real use to you. They'll also update you on your voter registration, which is fairly easy to do online. But if you want to do it with an app, knock yourself out.
The amount of subjects you can pick from to be your "Top 5" most important is limiting. Multiple times I scrolled through the list trying to find topics like Welfare or Foreign Relations or International Trade and I'm sure other who find this app will also find topics they care about missing from the list. This is advertised as one of the main features of the app, so I expected it to be the most developed in its variety of topics, so that the widest variety of political thinkers could use the app effectively. Sadly, that is not the case, and the list tended to peg itself to topics that made the typical headlines in political news. Jobs, healthcare, voting laws, and cannabis, etc. Too limited of a topics selection for anyone who looks into more niche topics, or reads further beyond their TV or social media feed.
Minor fixes can be made to fix all these issues. More topics on the main list, first of all. Secondly, creating more centered descriptions of candidates opinions (with multiple examples), and a larger amount of sources to do further research into, would make the 2020 candidates feature far more useful. Adding a social feature to the poles, and displaying the number of people participating, will be an effective method to make polls enticing to users without a tangible incentive like a free T-shirt. Also a comments section or discussion portion paired with every poll would aid in the social aspects. There would then be a reason to have a profile, and furthermore an account.
The intentions are good, but the app needs to become more educational in the way it portrays political candidates, more open to issues users may want to know about, and if it really wants people to make accounts, make the features accessible through an account work with the idea of having an account.

Super Informative and Intuitive
I love the way this app presents no-nonsense info on 2020 electoral candidates. The ONLY reason I give it four stars instead of five is because it only lets you pick 5 topics to follow out of around ~10. I want to follow them all! Overall an excellent experience though. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to become more politically literate.

I LOVE this app. It is a breath of fresh air to have a non partisan app that breaks down politics to its simplest form. With all the super biased information out there, I hope people will use this app to better understand the political landscape. If you need a quick and easy tool to break down this hectic election cycle, and the 5 million people running for President, then this is PERFECT. Also great for in-depth, yet simple breakdowns of common political issues.
