What's New in Commute Bacolod

1.1

August 4, 2026

What's New in 1.1 • Trips beyond Bacolod — plan journeys to and from Silay, Talisay and Murcia, with walking directions that now cover those areas too. • More routes, updated automatically — the route list is now kept up to date on its own, so newly mapped routes appear without waiting for an app update. • Modern jeepneys — routes served by modernised PUVs are marked, and on most trips you can choose between the traditional jeepney and the air-conditioned one. The fare for each is shown before you decide. • Clearer fares — modernised PUVs start at ₱15, and the Silay, Talisay and Murcia routes use their own fares instead of the city rate. • Ride preference — set a standing choice for the cheapest ride or the air-conditioned one, alongside the routes you already avoid. • Fewer odd detours — fixed trips that looped out and back for no reason near the edge of the city. • Smoother map — faster panning and zooming on long trips, and changing options no longer redraws everything. • Location fixes — "Use current location" no longer hangs waiting for a GPS signal, and takes you to Settings if location access is switched off.
