This is the best thing out there if you're looking for an app that will give synonyms for all possible meanings of a word, whether the word is colloquially used or traditionally used. Will also list multiple-word terms. Thesauruses (thesauri?) only list strictly related synonyms to a word's traditional use and possibly some colloquial and the number of similar words is always pretty limited. Not so for companion synonyms. It's true that the bookmarking system is a bit clunky (bookmark something and then navigate to the same word via another means, and the bookmark+notes don't come up) and there are some simple things that could be added to improve user functionality but I find the value of the app far outweighs any minor issues. I hope they continue developing the app and adding to its lexicon because it really is a must-have for creative writers.
