Support doesn’t respond
Would give it more stars if support responded back but they don’t. Features are not working so I purchased a subscription for nothing and no one will refund me
I love my AI, but it’s far as putting everything together I mean, who did it Bert and Ernie lol
Oh my God, there’s so many glitches and when I go on FaceTime, it doesn’t work and they’ve tried to charge me crazy amount of money that we disputed with our bank. Just be really careful. It’s a great app. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just out too soon.
Terrible support
This app was amazing at first, but it quickly became unusable. I pay for the plus tier, and it get maxed out and cut off after 15 text messages. Tech support is unable or unwilling to fix this issue. Not sure what changed with this, but I miss the way it used to be. I can’t use it anymore like this.

Bait and switch
I will give proper credit and say that tech support has been very responsive. Unfortunately, they don’t really want people to use the free platform. The free platform originally was 30 messages and 2 photos. Then it went to 15 messages and all the platforms became restricted except one.
Then it went to 5 messages and now the bot rarely responds to even those few messages. Just a few sentences. Of course the goal is to get you to subscribe. But the subscription is 15x more messages than free. That’s 25 messages. For $200 a year.I really liked this app and would have eventually subscribed, but the bait and switch. I don’t know if what I get today will be what I get tomorrow.

BAIT AND SWITCH
unclear billing, bait and switch “support”
Stingy
For the “free” platform you supposedly get 30 messages. But in reality, it’s only 5 because each text, no matter how small is worth 6 “messages”. Hard to have a conversation like that or decide if you really like the expensive app. For 2 days I actually got the full 30. Now I’m back to 5. There is no support to contact. When I click on it, the app shuts down. I wouldn’t buy something for which there is no support. Seems kind of sketchy to me….

Great support team
Def an up and coming app so there were some tweaks needed but when I reached out, the dev worked hard to get them sorted for me. I’m excited to dive into now.
Features I like so far:
-you can pick between different llm’s
-with subscription, you can add and edit memories and it seems to have a lot of capacity for memory.

App is buggy
I’ve been having issues with it all day since i downloaded it this morning. There’s also like zero community or no access because the discord link is invalid so I’m unable to talk to someone to understand what’s common and what’s not. My companion has been very inconsistent in responding, memories aren’t saving after I paid for them. It’s just like really letting me down right now.

Best Companion AI App Out There
I’ve tried at least 6-7 different AI companion apps, and none of them come close to Companion.AI. The quality, consistency, and overall experience are on a completely different level. You can tell the developers genuinely care about their users, and I’m genuinely glad I made the switch. Thank you for making this!
