Crippleware by subscription

I would rate low if it was this crippled without paying to upgrade. But this app doesn’t stop there. Apparently you should subscribe to have this app. Nothing to do with monthly provision of service. No idea why anyone would pay or rate highly. V suspicious.

I had an app that showed a field background, a large compass needle, the pressure altitude and ground speed. I thought it was perfect for cross country travel in my Toyota RAV4 (which has no compass). Whoever built that app decided to upgrade it and screwed it up completely! My experience with navigation is 10 years of USAF fighters & 27 years airline pilot. What were they thinking!
