About

Compass is a private gym tracker built for serious lifters. Log every set in seconds, follow a real training program, watch your 1RM climb, and see exactly when you broke a PR — without ads, without social feeds, and without features you'll never use. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Log sets, reps, weight, warm-ups, and superset groups in a single tap • Reuse templates for Push / Pull / Legs splits or any custom routine • Toggle progressive overload per exercise — Compass bumps the next session by 2.5 kg / 5 lb • Track 1RM trends, total volume, and per-muscle-group balance on the Stats tab • See PRs, rep PRs, and e1RM PRs called out the moment you set them TRAINING PROGRAMS • Browse built-in multi-week plans — 5/3/1-, nSuns- and GZCLP-style blocks with planned sets, AMRAP targets, and guided progression • Coach Mode drafts a personalised program from your goal, experience, and how long you have to train • Browsing the library is free; running a plan week to week is part of Gym Tracker Pro DESIGNED FOR LIFTERS • Plate calculator (kg + lb) and 40 / 60 / 75 / 90 % warm-up ramps • Rest timer with focal dial picker and time-sensitive notifications when rest ends • Timed exercises — planks, holds, wall sits, sled pulls — count down to your target and buzz when you reach it • L / R unilateral sets, warm-up flags, per-set notes, optional RIR logging • Strength standards, 1RM, and RPE-load calculators built in • Train around an injury: flag muscle groups to avoid and get in-workout warnings and safer swaps • Log cardio with distance and duration right alongside your lifts • Full history with calendar view, search, and per-session set summaries • Export your whole training log as a CSV any time you want APPLE WATCH READY • Live workout glance + rest timer on your wrist • Workouts log to Activity rings via HealthKit • Phone-side fallback if the watch isn't reachable PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Your data, your account — magic-link sign-in, no third-party logins • Real-time sync across iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch when online • Works fully offline; pending changes flush when you're back • Connect ChatGPT or Claude to your training data if you want to — read-only, and only when you set it up • In-app account deletion, in-app privacy policy GYM TRACKER PRO Compass is free to use. What's New in Compass

1.37

October 9, 2026

Editing a cardio set from History now keeps its time, and adding a cardio set saves the time you enter. The cardio sheets also drop the Reps field and warm-up switch that saving ignored. Set tables now stay inside each exercise card, within the screen gutters. Cardio cards label their column Distance · Time, headers no longer break mid-word at large text sizes, and long template names wrap on Today. Volume trends and the Stats volume charts now count both sides of a single-arm or single-leg set and leave warm-ups out, matching your workout summary. Workout, set and rep charts use whole-number gridlines. A weight the app can't store now shows an error instead of being dropped silently, and a damaged saved value can no longer skew your stats.
