Please Add an Apple Watch App for Compass
As a student Iโd love to see an Apple Watch app for Compass. It would make it much easier for students to quickly check their timetable and see what class they have next without needing to take out their phone.
At my school, teachers often change classrooms, so I need to check Compass frequently throughout the day. However, students arenโt allowed to use their phones during school hours, which makes it difficult to quickly check for room changes or our next class. An Apple Watch app would allow students to discreetly view their timetable and classroom information without needing to use their phone.
Having the timetable, room numbers, and any classroom changes available on Apple Watch would save time, help students get to the correct class faster, and make Compass even more useful during the school day.
I think many students with an Apple Watch would really appreciate this feature. Thank you for considering my suggestion!

Incredibly frustrating and unreliable for school use
Our school requires us to use this app, but it is an absolute nightmare to navigate. The absolute worst part is having to log in manually every single time I open it, which defeats the purpose of having a convenient app on my phone.On top of the terrible user experience, my inbox is constantly flooded with spam emails from the platform. The app itself is incredibly glitchy, slow, and highly annoying to use daily. If the school didn't force us to use it, I would have deleted it a long time ago. It needs a massive update to fix these basic usability bugs.

Worst app, so hard to use!
Worst UI, illogical categories, makes absolutely no sense. Have to call the school every time to find where theyโve stored things because they also struggle with the sill category names and lack of logic.
if I Had a Choice, Iโd Delete It Immediately
Unfortunately, this is an app I have to use, otherwise, it would have been deleted straight away. The navigation is terrible, finding information is a painful experience, and the overall design feels outdated and clunky. Incredibly, in 2025, an app can still be this poorly designed. At times, itโs actually easier to use the non-mobile-optimised web version on my phone because the app is just that frustrating to navigate. No improvements since launch, no sign of getting better, just an all-around terrible user experience.

Consistency issues across app
Overall ok, however consistently downed or multiple features not working.
One time login code does not work
Had to pay the enrolment fee for my kid and could not login as I forgot the password . The one time code generation did not work through the mobile app . The code generation seems to only work with user name as I had no luck getting the code send when I entered the email or the mobile number .Also had to go through a browser running on windows machine to generate the code after which the code was send to mobile . Hoping my review may help somebody trying to pay the enrolment offer for their kid which is due in 2 days from the time of this message

Compass emails
Struggling with sending emails to my kids schools. Also canโt pay for school events. What is wrong? Can this be fixed please

This app is infuriating.
This app is turning my dual burden into a triple shift!
Since switching to Compass, this app has complicated my life so much!
Firstly, Compass responds to emails refusing to take on board suggestions for app improvements. Every time an email is sent, they say "this is not a priority". This undermines the company's commitment to customer service.
Secondly, checking homework is so tedious! Instead of listing homework by due date, you have to click on each class, then find assignments upcoming, which are in a completely random order. This undermines my principle of organisation โ which I value very much! Furthermore, students cannot tick off homework tasks. This means that, after a month of using Compass, when I check my homework, it lists all 20 homework tasks I have ever been set, not just the ones due.
In addition, who calls behaviour points "Chronicles"? Compass seems to apply weird names to their features. Homework should not be called "Assessments" โ as not all homework is an assessment. These names reduce the accessibility of this app, making navigation of features more difficult and time-consuming. Schools should be able to rename features to their choosing.
With regard to behaviour points, students cannot see a total count of points on the mobile app. An educational app should reinforce positive behaviours, but when students cannot see a total count, there is no motivation to achieve behaviour points. Features like a whole-school leaderboard, total points count, prize draws, behaviour targets etc.
Do not get me started on the design of the app. It is so outdated and ugly! Looking at this app bores me, making me not want to check my homework and other features! The app needs a serious redesign, ASAP!
Most importantly, most features on the website version are not on the mobile app. For example, learning resources and exams. Most students use mobile devices to check Compass, as it is easier and quicker. The app should have EVERY feature the website version has, so that all students have full access to Compass, irrespective of access to resources. Students should not be limited by access due to their lack of material resources, such as a laptop. Compass has previously said that the app is not designed to be a replacement of the website โ and this is not OK! Accessibility should be at the heart of Compass, but clearly it is not a priority! It is way easier to check the app!
Overall, since switching to Compass, my dual burden has become a triple shift! I cannot find a single student or teacher at school who prefers Compass to our old system. Indeed, the only reason we are using Compass is because it is cheaper. Clearly, cheaper price results in a compromise in quality. I sincerely hope Compass will take on board this review, and action and implement feedback when given to them. Hopefully, this review initiates a new mindset for Compass henceforth, so they improve their app. This will help me eliminate my triple shift.

Ok app normally but wonโt work at night time when kids trying to see their schedule for the next day
The app is normally good, but they usually decided to update the app at the night time between 8 to 12 which is the time, kids trying to see their schedule and also to review the homework. Can they just update the app later????? Like after 12 or something???
Canโt log in after update
Canโt log in and see the loading screen after the app update.
Too many emails for a single action
You get an email for each lunch ordered (even packed lunch) so if u order 2 weeks for 2 children, u have 20 emails flooded to u mailbox, just like junk mails. (In fact they r, I donโt need to read any of them!)

Still not able to leave conversations. When attempting to leave a conversation an error message appears and I must close the app and restart it.
Since last update the app is constantly logging me out (have had to log in twice in 4 hours).

The app is STILL not allowing parents to leave conversations - I still have conversations from 2023 on my compass app that I cannot remove. I also cannot find one of my children's teacher using the app - but I can find other teachers, and today the app is not allowing me to send or receive messages from anyone - not great given our grade 6 graduation is next week and so are end of school activities.

A new thing that has happened today; I cannot log in to compass, I receive an error message saying being that my account cannot access compass outside of business hours... what the heck?! I have always checked Compass in the evenings to make sure we don't have something on the following day at school, now all of a sudden I can't?!
Also when paying for events on compass it is almost impossible to get the bottom of the screen to process the payment as the on screen keyboard is in the way.
Whoever is 'updating' this app needs to DO BETTER! And don't tell me to send an email, I have sent so many emails and nothing ever changes, all I get is a reply apologising or telling me to contact the school (the same school who then tell me it isn't an error on their end and to contact Compass support!

Iโm a CRT using Central across two schools and the app has made things pretty straight forward. Easy roll marking. Great location for lesson plans (when teachers leave them). Invaluable tool in my position.

Iโm a student, and I use compass, I like it a lot, very easy to work with. But every time I open it on my laptop, it requires a sign in. I donโt know if thatโs me or the app, but itโs really annoying if I want to check my schedule.
