Latency issues galore. Tried to get help with their tech support and the employee went from rude to ghosting me. If it doesn’t work for you just uninstall, not worth it.

Enfin une app d’exercices rythmique qui fonctionne! Le réglage de la sensibilité de reconnaissance du tap est parfaite. Après en avoir testé un paquet, celle la est idéale, très complète et adaptable à l’enseignement.
Great for training rhythmic accuracy
This is such a great app, it’s improving my sight reading and accuracy. The bite-size lessons feel like fun games without being distractingly “gamified.”

Je n’ai pas acheté l’appli music reading trainer car apparemment il n’y a pas de reconnaissance de diction, j’aimerais lire le nom des notes sans chanter et que l’appli reconnaisse la diction…. Taper sur le cercle ou le piano ne m’intéresse pas, et je ne souhaite pas jouer avec mon instrument, je cherche un exercice de lecture de notes en parlant… merci d’avance si c’est possible.

Amazing app, worth the purchase
The app is pretty great. I really like the functionality and the fact that there is no data collection or tracking.
The free version is more than sufficient for learning the basics of 4/4 and 3/4 time. I purchased the full version because I appreciate what the developers have put into the app and how they aren’t using it to collect data or to push subscriptions.
My only two complaints are how the instrument auto plays in the read modes (not associated with the user’s tap) and how the speed of the tempo cannot be adjusted (there are benefits to the slow tempo, but there isn’t much music out there that is played this slow. It is difficult to be accurate with such a slow tempo. Training multiple tempos would be nice).

Thank you for the feedback. The tempos (which varies depending on the drill) are carefully chosen for each drill (and I would say not slow at all!), but you can change the tempos by going to menu, change tempo when in a drill. Best, Stéphane.

I’ve been using this FOR years now but lately when I go to custom training it won’t let me move past exercise one. It keeps saying “Staff generation has failed. Check that the config is not asking for impossible things” but it is in their default configurations. I contacted customer service via email to explain this and they couldn’t understand my problem or help me. I use mostly custom training for my needs so if it doesn’t work the app is useless for me. Please help me out. Even if you have to reset my account, I don’t care, that’s pretty much the option I choose all the time anyway.

I’ve been stuck in a rut for many years playing in the same old 4/4 box as a guitarist.
I’m only a chapter or so in, and can already feel the syncopations and interesting rhythmic ideas brewing in my head !

Making a difference for me
Its making a big difference for my youth orchestra playing.
Fantastic
When it comes to learning timing or helping to count while playing an instrument this app is second to none. My one criticism is that when learning quavers the app still treats a crotchet as 1 beat and a minim as two beats instead of 1+ for a crotchet and 1+2+ for a mimim. I also wish there is a way to use your own custom created rhythms in the app itself for practice. If there is a way could the app designers please explain this to me because it is not clear in the app.

Hands down the most in depth rhythm app. Would love if they added 3 or more voices and more than one bar for dictation.
disappointed no way to measure accuracy
Expected the ‘tap’ button on the ‘free practice’ to actually do something, such as tap along to a rhythm and get feedback on accuracy. Nope.

Free practice is just a way to input and play rhythms. The tap button in Free Practice is indeed just a tap tempo. If you want to be tested on custom rhythms, use custom training mode. Best, Stéphane.
Great app, just a small issue with sound quality
This app is fantastic, with a wide range of features that many other apps just don't have. However, I’ve encountered a small issue. I haven’t purchased the app yet, but I’ve been using the version in my library. I noticed that while the metronome works fine, the piano sound itself has some crackling and muddiness. It would be great if this issue could be addressed so that users can enjoy a clearer sound.
Nonetheless, thank you so much for creating such an amazing app! I’m sure it will help many people around the world.

this is a great app that will teach you progressively how to read notated rhythms as well as hearing rhythms so you will be able to dictate them back to paper or your head. If you’re interested in being able to actually write music that you hear in your head or wrote down the rhythms of your favorite music this is a highly recommend this app.
