Omg the ads! Holy cow I can’t get anywhere with this. Immediately deleted after trying it briefly. Ads pop up after each small step.

Was looking for an app that would simply let me resize photos on my iPhone as I used to do on my android. Don’t throw $30 at that other app. Keep it simple, get what you need and get this app!

Ads are awful
Free version bombs false ads about virus attacks. Also doesn’t change image dimensions as expected; smaller size (eg for Twitter profile) is only in KB not HxW. Also pic quality becomes poor regardless of setting.

They take £0.01 from your bank account then take more after 3 days. They then claim you signed up with them directly and refuse to back down or refund you.

Would be better if it let you select all photos, or all photos matching certain criteria. 50-photo limit silly, since can internally group into batches.

was nice. now partly unusable
shows compression size 0 bytes. after month unable to use, l found I have to use advanced compression settings. setting to HEIC is 0 bytes and crashes , but jpeg works. wth? the links in menus dont work anymore, it always says “only from photos app” even from photos app. still loses caption with “conserve metadata on” . still shows very different file sizes than photoapp. jul30. l paid $10 and it keeps crashing. no fix. jun7. still crashes when l press compress. what’s going on? may28:new engine? still says “works only from photo app” -it does not. when I use the compress app, it crashes. -don’t update yet. dec2024. work around: I cannot use “all photos” because of mention earlier. but l now use select photos which seems to work. still no fix of this annoying bug since over a month. nov25: major weird bug: compresses total different photos with same name but years older. all my new photos names eg IMG_0244 exist already. so IMG_0244-compressed is a totally diff photo. how is a file identified? why double names that cannot be changed? No memory warning. memory and space kinda full tho. 2.and yes, the file size was always different from what the iphone says. most of my photos are “cropped screenshots”. each app shows different sizes. sept8 :bug: lost caption after entering it after compressing 2photos at once.(no field to enter again) ——first test show that some cropped screenshots get compressed but original screen size photo. most of my screenshots are cropped, and I have to crop them again after compression. I got a “memory warning”,tho. then I simply close all apps from memory. the date is newer making the file show up at way different place than orig. and I need to change date of a file that I might have let deleted. complicated. Its always unclear if it gets fullrender compressed. Often I dont want it compressed but simply a smaller file bec. an apple-cropped picture is often still stored as the original and I just want to erase the cropped-away part. apple shows diff. filesizes. some ads now are in full chinese, you have tapwithout knowing what it says to continue.mar6,2024 ok, I paid the $10. now its still hard to find the compressed picsin photo app to see the changes. have to scroll thru 5000photos each time. the sorting is different. what makes it harder too is that it doesnot show the full pic, and only little, esp. with similar photos. apr5,2024 seems he doesnot understand what I mean. there are no compressed photos before I let it compress. which ones should I compress before I kniw which ones? Does not copy the caption. nov20,2025: still shows wrong sizes. eg 53kB, photoapp shows 560kB. then sometimes “cannot compress further. sometimes it can. mar2026: still shows wrong filesize for edited pics and connot compress.

How does it compress a 4MB photo to just 39kBytes with almost no blurring? Sounds unbelievable. Diff. apps show diff file sizes tho. Does it copy the caption?? Worth the 13$ for life without ads.
