Not worth the money
Prep quiz questions are extremely basic and will give you false sense of security. The questions on the actual exam are lengthy and this application will NOT prepare you.

Missing images
Good questions but it is missing images from some of the exhibit questions. Please fix issue.

Using this along with other study material. Purchased the ultimate package, extensive questions to help prepare when I’m not reading.
Missing "detail picture"
Other than certain detail pictures. This app is pretty great. Right amount of tracking and question doesn't have obvious mistakes. I would recommend.
app dev needs to read crash logs and fix threading
All versions of the PocketPrep apps display the same problems. Frequent hangs/freezes, crashes, and lost data. Reading the device/app logs (by connecting device to Xcode) shows most of the problems are due to poor thread management. Long activities on the main thread being system halted after timeout is exceeded, or threads trying to dispatch work to themselves. This is sloppy coding. And, it’s obvious they reuse the same code across all of their apps.
If I put my device in airplane mode, these apps do behave better... further confirming most of the freeze/crash occurrences are within the thread management of network calls and SQLite data updates (which is clearly indicated in the crash logs).
I contacted PocketPrep directly about data loss from app crashes, provided details, got an automated reply, followed by absolutely no response from them.
As much as I like the idea of these apps and the progress tracking features, it’s nearly addictive when it works, the reality is these apps aren’t stable and the metrics data is gibberish.
In hindsight I should have spent the money purchasing additional books and avoided these apps like the plague that they are.

Images won’t display
Casp 3 images won’t display is just a blank so i can’t answer the questions if I can’t see the image

Pro: daily reminder, question of the day, custom able number of questions, explanations
Need improvement: keep kicking back to version 002, have to update to 003 every other day and losing progress. Too pricey.

Content update is broken
I’ve been trying to update my content to the CAS-003 content for days and the app keeps defaulting back to the previous test version. This needs to be fixed ASAP so I can continue to study.
Not worth the money
Questions are poorly worded and are not in alignment with CompTIA training or material. It’s all based on a book by Robin Abernathy and Troy McMillan. Beware!
Good App
Over all a good study help. Did find some misspelled words and questionable answers. Would recommend to aid in exam preparation. Just think they should lower the cost.

This app is amazing! It's simple, straightforward, and extremely thorough with explanations for all answered questions. This app is geared to assist you with understanding the material presented in books written to help you pass the certification. This is so worth the $30.
This app is amazing
I've tried a couple different CAS-002 training apps, and this one is by far the best. Beautiful design, accurate answers, great layout. And even better because it gives you explanations for the answers in a clear and concise way. Even quotes pages of the book where the answer came from. Well worth the 30 bucks for the premium version!!!
