Really cool app!

The concepts of scales and chords allow you to choose the right fingering for different hand sizes. This is an important feature for beginners. The program is not cheap, but it's worth it! There are many guitar videos on scales and chords, but here there are much more than in any educational video, and everyone can find something special for improvisation. The function showing which chords fit the scale and which scales fit the chords is well implemented. Perfect for teachers like myself!

"Happy to help! Good luck to you in such a challenging task as teaching! With respect - Fonexsis team"

I found what I’ve been looking for!!!

Finally. I’ve found exactly what I’ve been looking for! This app has everything I wanted – modes with concepts for 2, 3, 4, and more notes per string, and most importantly, the chords that fit them! It features an advanced system for determining modes, allowing you to play over a II-V-I progression with just one scale or mode. In short, I highly recommend this app, it's the best I've seen in the App Store and even among paper books, and I have a lot of them. (By a lot - I mean really lot!!!)

NOTICE!

This is not a review to slander this app or its developer. Rather I believe I have a duty to anyone else wondering if they should make this purchase. This is a very good app and I once considered it one of my best purchases {and hope that it will be again}. But I was recently made aware that these apps are no longer supported by the developer. In his own words: “currently we cannot afford more people to support our older apps and develop updates for them.” (This app and Quartal Harmony open upside down on the latest iPad Pro) These apps are only worth high prices when they work fluidly and are supported and updated regularly. This is written as a guide to future purchasers and as a plea to the developer to make the sacrifice to satisfy the customers who have made the sacrifice to support these apps. Thank you.

Thanks for your review. We have already prepared a new update to fix these issues and tried to submit it to App Store. However, Apple review team has rejected our update and prohibited any further updates of this app. Instead, they have proposed us to combine a number of our guitar apps into one single container app, called "Guitar Driller", which is free for download, with internal in-app purchases. We plan to combine most of our existing guitar apps into Guitar Driller in the future. You can download Guitar Driller app now for free on the App Store. Thanks for understanding.

Nice App

But for the cost I am disappointed; no lefty view. I’m a left handed guitar player, please do an update and show the left hand view of the scales. Otherwise a great app. Kenneth Parker’s view.
