Interesting idea; terrible iPhone formatting
I’d like to use this app, but the app display seems wider than my iPhone 12 mini’s width. The display is truncated on both your left and right sides, rendering the app unusable.
It’s An Upgrade
I think the app is mostly pretty good and an upgrade over Music. The interface is quite nice. I do have a few complaints. Advancing a piece: Why must I lock the screen or pull the screen down to access Apple’s song advance slider to go forward or back in a piece? I don’t like leaving the app just to slide back to a part I really enjoyed. Inconsistent representation of composers: I search Paganini and I get an option that shows the composer Niccolo Paganini, then his works are broken down by essential, chamber and so on. I search Henri Vieuxtemps, and various pieces come up with his name in bold but he doesn’t have his own profile with his works broken down so I can easily browse his works. I find numerous composers have profiles with their works and others have their works available but not organized and scatter shot in a list. Favorites scattered: Why are my favorites scattered in a list? One of the things I was most hoping for where Apple Music fails, is organizing my music by composer. When I favorite something, why do I not instead see a list of composers I have with at least one piece saved? Where’s that Dvorak piece I favorited? In some odd spot in a list mixed with a bunch of other composers. I want to go to my Dvorak favorites and see all my Dvorak there and so on. Number of composers: I know, yours limited by OpenOpus, and eventually the list will grow and a community will be able to help it grow. When will the Open in OpenOpus open?

Great way to discover classical music

This is a WONDERFUL app. I think it has a very recognizable feel to classical musicians, similar to browsing the IMSLP catalog, except with a link to a recording at the end (though occasionally it won’t find recordings that I know are on Apple Music, particularly with older music, pre-Bach). It’s a great resource if you’re wanting to explore a composer’s oeuvre and immediately listen.
While it achieves everything it aims to re: being a classical music library, there’s something to be desired on the streaming end. While it is a great thing to group movements together as a single work (though still listing them as individual movements is a good thing), you’re unable to scroll to specific time-stamps within a movement; you have to listen all the way through. It’s just standard-fare for a streaming service, and should be added in the next update.
Additionally, consider researching and adding famous composers of color to the catalogues: Boulogne, Price, Still, Eastman, and others. There are several lesser known composers in the groups by time period, some lesser known than these. It seems prudent to include these and more now rather than later.
Great job on creating a wonderful and very useful app.

Thank you so much for your remarks and suggestions! In-track scrubbing is indeed on our roadmap. About increasing the composers library: it will eventually expand, but meanwhile you can find and listen to unlisted works and composers through search.

I’ve wanted something like this to exist for so long! I’d have been thrilled just to find a classical music app that integrates with Apple Music, but the fact that this app looks so nice and works so well is just the icing on the cake. And it looks like the developers are just getting started, so I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!

Honest alternative to Primephonic or Idagio
Superior not just to most classical radio stations with questionable curating at best but also to such scams as Primephonic or Idagio that presume to charge subscriptions for similarly clumsy selection of good music.

One of the best idea as long as I'm concerned
Since I discovered Concertino as a Web app, I've been loving the idea and it's been my go-to app for classical music. And it's now a native iOS app and it can play recordings in app itself. And the developer is very motivated and communicative. I have high respect on them.
I could give it five stars. But I know there is always margin of improvements. Hence, four for now. I'm pretty sure I will give it five after several more releases.

Doesn’t work with separate iTunes account
I have a separate App Store/Apple Music account and Concertino is using my main iCloud account which doesn’t have an Apple Music subscription so I only get 30 seconds. I wish it would correctly detect my Apple Music account.

Doesn’t Work
Love the idea behind the app; however, it just does not work. Seems to buffer forever before actually playing any music. I ended up deleting it after one day of frustration.
Unreliable
Great idea but the app freezes every other tap. Search is not very robust and playing music requires at lest a ten second wait.
Crashes every time on iPad...and now my iPhone
Crashes every time I select anything in Concertino on the iPad.

Great Niche Companion, Still a 1.0
I love the idea of this app. In the past, I’ve stuck almost exclusively to albums that are saved to my library when listening to my music. I’ve managed the metadata of my library so that it’s easier to find what I need... but it’s still a chore.
This app lets me expand my selection while still setting parameters for the type of music I want to hear. For example, while I love classical music in general, I avoid opera and anything vocal... it’s just my preference. This is the first streaming app I’ve seen that lets me set those kinds of parameters.
My main request is to make this app native for iPad. I listen to my music mostly at home, and use my iPad to airplay the music. Right now the tiny screen is awkward.

Good for starters like myself
I really like the presentation of the content.
Two modifications that make this five stars for me:
1) Remove the playback animations, or at least give an option to do so. Distracts from the actual content.
2) When viewing the playback "card" that pops up, the taps at the bottom tab bar appear to do nothing. Took me a minute to realize that the change happens underneath the card. Perhaps the playback card should automatically minimize when switching tabs.

Buggy
The app idea is great! Unfortunately it keeps crashing and It says I don’t have Apple Music... I do. If it gets fixed, I’ll give it another shot.
Love the concept of the app
And the design and usability is great as well. Unfortunately the app is buggy and crashes when selecting any most requested composers. The loading times till the music starts to play is too long as well. Room for improvement but great start!
