About

Members of Congress are required by the STOCK Act to publicly disclose their stock trades. Those filings are public, but scattered, delayed, and hard to read. Congress Trade Detective puts them in one place. THE TRADE FEED See recent disclosed trades from House and Senate members: who traded, what ticker, buy or sell, the reported amount range, the trade date, and the date it was made public. TWO NUMBERS THAT MATTER Every trade shows how the stock has moved since the trade itself, and since the trade became public. The gap between the two shows how much of the move happened before anyone could see it. PRICE CHARTS WITH CONTEXT Open any trade to see a price chart with the trade marked on it, company news plotted on the timeline, and related congressional activity (hearings, votes, and bills) shown alongside. This shows timing, not proof. WATCHLIST AND ALERTS Star the tickers you care about and get notified when a new filing involves them. CASE FILES Turn any trade into a shareable Case File card with the chart, the stats, and the headlines. Share it anywhere. ASK HAL Have a question about a trade or a member? Ask Hal, the app's robot detective. DATA SOURCES Trade data comes from public financial disclosure filings. Congressional activity comes from public records. News comes from third-party financial news providers. IMPORTANT Congress Trade Detective is an informational tool. It is not financial advice, and it does not accuse anyone of wrongdoing. Disclosure filings can be delayed, amended, or reported in value ranges rather than exact amounts.
