Switch and bait
Thieves. This is how they do it: you pay for the app, open it for the first time and find out you have to pay more to update information to the current congress.

Charged me 1.99 for an old version (114th congress)then you have to pay again for the current congress. How do they get away with this?

Senate links point to House websites
I've noticed several committee links (especially Senate Committees) direct you to House Committee websites.

It's really a terrible app. Not user friendly, no sponsored bills and worst of all they keep asking for money for the update.

Just purchased it and it is already asking me to purchase the "new" congress. Hmm
Great App & Honest People
This is a very good app. Extremely useful for discovering congressman both by state or by last name. The mapping that shows districts is awesome. All you could want to know in one place. The people that have put this app together are also very good to work with if you encounter issues. They worked through my issues with great responsiveness.

Cohen group takes way too long to update frequent changes in Congressmen and Senators roster -- months. Updating process is tedious and i have been charged twice for the same version. Photos should be bigger also.

Staff is not included in this app nor is it advertised as such. We offer that in Congress+, which doesn't update, and CongressPro, which updates over the air. Pro tip: if you tap on a photo it fills the whole screen.
What a joke
We're sorry we didn't charge enough the first time you purchased the app, so we're charging you more for updates.
Out of date
Bought this app after 113th Congress was sworn in and expected it to be up to date. Very disappointed that it lists members of the LAST Congress. The app is easy to use, but worthless as it now stands.

This app is an excellent and very handy resource! From info on all current legislators to legislation through LOC. Great app for political junkies and those who are interested in keeping informed. 5 stars!!!

I have the newest iTouch model and the app works great, giving minute-to-minute updates of floor debates, etc. Totally worth getting!

Worthless
I regret spending 99c on this completely worthless app. All the info it presents is available on the web. It doesn't provide any additional service worthy of installing it on my phone.

I uninstalled this app thinking it would upgrade with the new Congress. Now it tells me my iPod is too old to keep supporting, and they have nothing for me. Too bad, I loved this app til now!
Crashes constantly
Whenever I use the geo locate feature it crashes. Always.
Loading problem with updated congress
I'm having the same issues as others but I have an iphone 3g. Can't get this to work. They should fix the issue or post a solution, either way this was a great app but now need some serious support.

Next time, email us, we're happy to help. That said, my hope is you're still not using the 3G and have moved on to another great Apple device. The new Congress is live with a low-cost in-app purchase, which pays for our team.
Download does not work
Tried to get the app to download several time. Followed instruction to delete and redownload. Large program and take a while to do. After over an hour of trying I gave up.

This is a great app with great support. All those having database updating issues please read this review. I have an iPhone4 and had the same problem getting the updated database to install so I sent an email to the company asking for help. The CEO Dr. Cohen replied to me within 1 day with some solutions. unfortunately none of them worked but in the email he gave me a phone number to call if I still had any issues. I called late in the evening and left a message. In less than 1 hour the CEO himself called me back and worked me through the problem. Looks like iPhone4 users need to fully close the app by stopping it from running the background. After selecting the update, close the app, then double tap the home button to get to the app running in the background. Close the app there, wait a moment, and then restart the app. The new database should update then. If you are still having issues, please contact them directly before you write a bad review. I have never had better service then what I got from them! THEY WILL FIX THE PROBLEM! I would reccomend this app and company to anyone.
