Connect @ MedX is an app to help start new conversations at the 2014 MedX conference at Stanford. The purpose of the app is to find common interests with people who are within a few feet of you. The app works by entering in your twitter username on the main screen. Then, when you get near one of the large Connect @ MedX digital displays in the lobby, your twitter bio will automatically appear on screen. The system works by using iBeacon technology to know when you are within a five foot radius of the screen. You can turn the app on and off at anytime. Use Connect @ MedX to find common interests with the people around you.
