Updated Review
Response from developer
Hi, did the most recent update fix the issue for you? We have made changes to the app so that the pop-up does not repeatedly appear. Please let us know via ios@conota.app. Previous reply: thank you for your feedback. Conota requires media access because all photos are stored in a dedicated folder named Conota. The app needs permission to write to this folder, and read from it to display your images within the app’s gallery. This is an iOS requirement. The repeated pop-ups occur if only Partial Access is granted by the user, as iOS will continually prompt for updates to ensure the app can see your latest photos. While we are looking into ways to reduce the frequency of these prompts in our next update, the permission itself remains a standard iOS requirement. To stop these pop-ups permanently, I recommend granting Full Access to your media. You can do this by opening your phone Settings, searching for Conota, and updating the permissions to "All Photos". We only use this access to read and write photos within the app for the purpose of providing the app's functionality. Using it for any other purpose would violate the strict privacy regulations here in Austria, where our company is based. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at ios@conota.app. Kind regards, Michael, Founder of Conota
