Consensus: Writer Feedback App

Consensus is a brand-new app that helps writers process and organize the feedback they receive on their work. Using a simple two-step system, it encourages them to: 1) Distill the core ideas of each reader’s feedback into brief summaries 2) Group similar feedback using tags In doing so, a consensus is reached, helping to: • Validate suspicions about problem areas • Expose blind spots • Increase big-picture focus and reduce overthinking • Stimulate idea growth for new changes After the consensus has been found, what remains is a blueprint for future revisions with all feedback and files in one place. Other noteworthy features include the ability to: • Track progress on notes by flagging, prioritizing, and marking them complete • Sync work to iCloud for seamless access across all of your devices • Store originals and reader feedback files within a project • Link notes to their source file • Create profiles for readers and save their contact information • Divide large projects into subprojects for easier management • Organize feedback by section or draft Though built for writers, Consensus works for any creative field (and beyond).
