What's New in Constella Sky
1.1
August 17, 2026
Constella 1.1 makes the sky smoother and more reliable: steadier planet sizing while zooming, faster deep-star exploration, improved Follow, and lower heat and memory pressure while reading. This update adds richly sourced stories for every Gaia source, a clearly labelled Gaia mission illustration, and much deeper coverage across the deep sky, stars and exoplanet systems. Tonight now includes Launch Radar, a local-time calendar of upcoming orbital launches including Starlink missions. Live satellites use modern OMM records so newly catalogued objects are not lost to the old five-digit format. You will also find clearer satellite visibility, stronger accessibility, safer sign-in and community controls, and more resilient network and offline behavior.
