Subscription
I’d much rather pay $50 for the app upfront than have to pay $35 annually. I think the company would have more sales and make more money that way.

CM 5 switched to a subscription based app and cancelled my lifetime purchase
Very disappointed, app is great and I’ve used it for years but when I redownloaded it, it tries to make me purchase a subscription. Gave 2 stars only because it is a good app

No upfront pricing information
The subscription price for the app should be displayed prominently on the App Store page. It is a shady practice to make users download the app before disclosing the subscription cost, regardless of a free trial.

I’ve been using this app for years. I still have a ConstructionMaster on my desk, but buttons don’t work like they used to. Best personal iPhone purchase I’ve ever made, no more $60 calculator replacements.
Seriously?
Can’t even try it before you buy into an expensive yearly payment for a digital calculator? Seriously? You have pay for a subscription first with the option to hopefully cancel it just to actually see what you’re getting. If it was so good, let us try it without giving you our credit card info.
