Does Just What I Needed
This app has helped me in the transition to a new profession. As I have made dozens of new connections, Contact Snapper has helped me capture their cards and transfer that information to my apple contacts. I am very pleased that there is no type of subscription required and no attempts to make in-app sales. When I stumbled upon a strange scanning glitch caused by a specific person’s card, support was very responsive.

Duplications
The app keeps duplicating contacts in both the app itself and in the iPhone contacts. The duplications continue 6-8 times! No customer service to assist with this problem!

Best BC Scanner
This App is perfect at scanning BC but also does so much more. The syncing between my iPad and iPhone is perfect. So simple to get my contacts in my device Contacts App. Tried similar Apps and they were either completely overpriced or not very accurate. Highly recommended.

Easy to photo, Exports wrong
Contact Snapper is pretty good at photographing business cards and getting many of the fields right. The problem is the export - with excel, it exports phone numbers into stacked cells in one merged-cell row for each contact, which means the fields don't match up with import tools. Forget importing to Salesforce, for example, it skips addresses, and Outlook won't take a multi-contact .vcf file for some reason. So if you use Contact Snapper as your contact app, you're in good shape, but if you use Outlook or Salesforce, this doesn't work.

Thanks for your review. The Excel export was not designed to be used as an import for other Apps but we'd be happy to improve it and see if we can address your concerns. Best scanner and great developers
I looked at a lot of card scanner apps and this one does everything the others do without locking you in to expensive annual payment plans. The scanning function works great and I like that I can export the contacts, group them, see their location on a map, and so much more that’s packed into this app.
I was recently having issues with the app and I emailed support about it and they got right on it and fixed the problem. I was not expecting that. Service was great. They fixed the issue but they also followed up with me multiple times throughout that process to update me on the status. Great app, great developers. I highly recommend this app.

Misses email adresses
Sometimes totally fails to capture email addresses. Puts email addresses and website URLs in fields generically named "Work".

Great app. Great price. Fantastic OCR. Constantly crashes.
Minimalist, functional… but butt-ugly
I am torn. It does almost everything I would ask of a business card scanner app (pretty accurate OCR, card scans saved with each contact, sync with iOS contacts is optional), there are few bugs (e.g. doesn't let me assign contacts to groups on iPhone SE iOS 16.5) and I miss only a few features (e.g. export individual contacts to iOS address book).
The price is more than fair (honestly, you should charge more!). The only real problem is that the user interface looks atrocious. It looks even worse than the screenshots you can see on the App Store page. I would love to love this product, but with this look, using it will always feel like a chore.

What happened to my contacts?
I downloaded Contact Snapper a few weeks ago and spent time entering several cards for business contacts. Now I have opened it. the app again and my contacts are gone. What happened?

Contact snapper is immensely valuable when it works.
However latest update on iPad and iPhone with iOS 16, presents a splash screen only, with no way of getting further in to the app.
So I can’t comment on the effectiveness of this update

This is my first Business Card scanning app, and so far it works as advertised: simple, effective, easy to use.
I was drawn to the Contact Snapper because it doesn’t require a subscription and it seamlessly integrates with my devices address book. What’s not to like?

Bought the app in the past but now it wants me to pay for it again. Tried to email the company but email bounced back undelivered. Not happy.
How do I export contacts?
I’ve downloaded the top level app and asked the question of contact but I have not yet received a response.

This app is good, that’s because I decided to buy it almost 3 months ago, but after having the full version, I found out that this app doesn’t show the imagen of the side 2 of the business cards, which is too bad since you need the both sides information. I wrote to the support team and they said to me that they will fix this issue up in the next update and I’m still waiting for that wonderful day since then...
