Suggestions, rewritten. A suggestion used to pile up at the top of a card. It now sits inside the section it concerns, on one line, with a single tick to accept it — the same control everywhere, whether it settles one value or a whole card. ADDRESSES • An address suggestion shows the address as it would read once accepted, with the parts it changes standing out, instead of listing changed fields side by side. • A street written over several lines is corrected line by line, under the line it concerns. • One suggestion per address. A country spelled "Belgique" is now part of the address suggestion rather than a second row saying the same thing. • Checking with Maps is one action for the whole card, in the Addresses section, instead of a button hidden inside every address. NAMES AND LINKS • A related name opens the card it names. Adding one suggests matching cards as you type. • Rename a card and Contact’Up offers to update the cards still pointing at the old name. • Related names and similar cards are one section now, with two jobs: link them, or take what they know. • People are named in full — prefix, suffix and all — everywhere in the app. • Phonetic first and last names are now used when sorting, so a card filed under a phonetic name lands where you filed it. DATES • Day, month and year are three fields you can clear one by one, and the precision follows what you filled in. No more picking a precision from a menu. • Fixed: a date holding only a year was treated as empty when two cards were compared. ALSO • Swipe to delete works again on rows inside a card. • Rows in Clean Up are shorter, and all the same shape whatever they propose.
