Money Grab

Excited to see this but after spending thousands on Canon cameras and lenses, they want more. Subscription models are the worst. Greedy company. I’m so disappointed in Canon.

Not worth the time or money

What a shame I use to love being able to use my camera and get the good quality pictures to my phone. Now that the app changed it no longer supports my camera and it is so confusing to use. I wish I read more of the reviews before wasting my time.

Nothing about this app makes sense

Don’t bother

Shame on you Canon

You want your consumer to play monthly subscription for what should have been a standard file transferring app with your own product. This is disgusting. **** your monthly subscription. Im gonna switch to sony real soon.

Photo transfer to Phone

Terrible I can no longer connect my camera to my phone and transfer photos. I thought I was the only one however reading reviews this was intentionally done by the company! Very sad! Selling on eBay and going with Sony!

Doesn’t support EOS M50

Doesn’t support EOS M50 and the old EOS utility is not supported as well, clearly a deadlock between canon and whoever wanted to move to this professional software

Doesn’t work

Signed up for $6/month subscription to download pics from my Canon 70D through WiFi like I’ve done for almost 10 years and the new app doesn’t work. It grays out the option to download from my camera, complete garbage.

Rebel T6 not supported

Only a small amount of cameras are supported for this app??? Ridiculous I even purchased the subscription just to be told that It’s. It supported

Camera not supported

Very displeased to have invested thousands of dollars into canon products and no longer able to transfer files from camera to smart phone. My camera is not supported and the original app that I once used isn’t supported. This is enough to leave this brand and go with a competitor. This app only works with a subscription as well. Complete failure to once loyal customer.

Terrible App

This app does not work with Rebel T6, do not waist your money. They should have left it free since it does NOTHING.

“Professional Use” for occasional personal use?

I could see the benefit of a so-called professional app for people who engage in a lot of photography and videography as a hobby or job but for an individual who occasionally takes a video of a kid’s event, having to pay for a subscription is an obnoxious money-grab on Canon’s part. You should rethink how to build and maintain customer loyalty. Maybe you don’t actually want family camera users and want to move your customer base to professionals, in which case, best of luck to you. I’ll go back to using my iPhone to capture family memories!

Upsetting

This simple camera download app is utterly frustrating. There are no instructions on how to pair the camera with your phone plus there’s a subscription fee on top of it.

I would give it zero stars if I could

This application doesn’t work with my EOS five wants a QR code for the Mac address and evidently that’s not available with this model. You would think that they would have an option to put it in manually, but noooooo geniuses that wrote this application didn’t include that

So unless I’m wrong, the application I use the transfer files will be no longer support in an October and the new application isn’t supporting my 5D.

What a bunch of narrow minded simpletons. Landscape.

Outrageous that this requires a monthly subscription

The camera cost me over $4000 but Canon wants a $5.99/month subscription to be able to transfer photos from it. Insane.
