What's New in Continuum
3.9
October 28, 2026
The grid is four weeks now, not 66 days. I took 66 from Lally's 2010 study, and it was the wrong window for a daily number — a bad week took a month to show, and so did a good one. 28 days, seven to a row. The % and the colour use the same four weeks. "Formed" is gone. A habit is strong at 80% over four weeks, and it gets a star. Drop under 80 and the star goes, until you're back over it. Done habits sink to the bottom, so what's left for today sits on top. Hold to mark one; the card breaks into squares and re-forms underneath. Also new: – Archive a habit from its menu. The history stays, and Settings brings it back. – Sort by most or least consistent, in Settings. – Tap the % at the top to see every habit on one chart, from 1 month to a year. – New colours, dark red to blue as a grid fills. One correction. Last update I wrote that the anonymous signals never include your habits. From 3.9 they include a few numbers once a day — your habit count, how many are strong, yesterday's total, each habit's % with no name attached, and a couple more. Habit names and the days you marked never leave your phone (the privacy policy lists every number). Settings → Share Anonymous Usage turns it off.
