Hasn’t Been Updated
This company has been one failure after another. Every 4 years, they will finally provide an update for bugs. Don’t expect another update since they have been bankrupted and closed for 4+ years and counting.

I purchased my contour +2 camera just as the company went bankrupt... At the time, they had the best mounts, the best features and were positioned to take over the market, then poof! They were gone.
This version retains the features that their update four years ago had, but it works with my iPad and iPhone SE. There could be more functionality, in my opinion, including loop recording and the ability to operate the camera while tethered to a power source, but as this is an older camera, I’m just happy they’re keeping it supported so it remains functional.

Love contour!
I really enjoy my contour and prefer it over my GoPro, contour’s apps are easy to use and have a few more features than GoPro that I really like. The only thing that I wish contour had is, inside their iOS app for iPhone it doesn’t show you the videos/photos you have taken. I wish there was a button you could press that would show you a library of all the footage you’ve taken. That is just one feature I hope they add in the future!

No camera detected
Downloaded newest app, made sure firmware is current, deleted, reloaded this and that. Says tested on +phones and X, so I guess it is no longer supported by a 5s. Time to break out the hammer, then support a competitor.
Another weak version from a once promising company
When contour started they had everything they need to bury go pro. Their product was superior- in terms of looks, features and functions. Then suddenly they went dark.
Just like the company their apps and support has gone dark. Occasionally a new version comes out but it often causes problems for people using anything but their latest product.
I downloaded this in hopes of getting the Bluetooth functionality to work again. It did not help. Guess this app can't save a once great product

Camera is almost useless since the company has not made an update to its app in over two years. It will not work with IOS 11.

Contour obviously isn't committed to their cameras or costumers. I have a Contour 2+ because it was a little cheaper than GoPro but now I wish I had just gone mainstream. The camera isn't bad but there aren't very many mounts and this app is absolute garbage. Don't get a contour

I love this app I just wish I could watch the videos I took on the ride home but you can't.
