Worse than the Android version on every level
The Android version of this app opens immediately to the page where you can track contractions. This version takes you through at least seven different unskippable pages asking optional information before giving you access to what you need — a button to tap that records the time for you. It’s embarrassing that their latest app update includes “removing full screen ads so you’re not distracted between contractions” — either maintain an app that provides a straightforward service or don’t, but stop with the dark patterns that show you clearly don’t care about your primary user base. I would like to see more contraction timer options that are a step up from using the default Stopwatch app on your phone (which has its own limitations or I wouldn’t be looking for a separate app), without sacrificing so much sanity to dealing with data collection during what the app creators know is a stressful time.

There are ad pictures I assume at the bottom of the screen of the timer and they are of provocative clothing models. I don’t think woman want to have to look at other women like that while they are in labor. Won’t be using this app again.

Pornographic ads
As I’m trying to time my contractions, there’s naked women and penises in the ads. No joke. Deleted app and found one a little more calming.
New feature needed
Need the ability to add contractions that have occurred and not logged as they happened. ‘Manual add recent contraction’ option
Paywall during labor?
We’ve been using my pregnancy app for my wife’s whole pregnancy and really enjoyed it. Some contractions have started and decided to go with the contraction timer from them as well just to find a paywall makes me upset to say the least. For example, accidentally hit the start button and you can’t erase that from the history and it messes up the averages… The my… series of apps are pretty good and my wife’s uses them, but this just put a bad taste in my mouth.

Wish i could log info
I just got this app to try and track contractions. You have to immediately pay for a subscription with no free trial (i paid $3 for a week) so I had no idea how the app operated by my contractions have started so I needed something.
Unless I’m incompetent at using this app, you can only log contractions in real time (as opposed to being able to manually add one into the log). I’m not always glued to my phone to be able to start/stop the timer right away, so I really wish there was a log setting

Would highly recommend!
I never write reviews for apps but after using this particular app for timing my contractions at 37.5 weeks I would highly recommend! This app timed my contractions and prompted me to attend hospital. At the time I didn’t believe I was really in labour and thought I was simply having Braxton Hicks contractions. I’m so glad I listened to the app when prompted because once I attended hospital I was already 5cm dilated! I’ll be telling all my pregnant friends to download as well! Being shout out to the creator of this app! Really awesome!

I started feeling what I didn’t know was contractions. All was about 4 mins apart. This app notified me that I needed to go to hospital! It helped alot I got to the hospital and was 6cm dilated and delivered!

When this app notified me to head to the hospital, i did and was actually in labor. Helped me so much as a first time mom!
Didn’t work for me
This is my third pregnancy and I got a membrane sweep to help induce labor. I was drinking raspberry tea also. My contractions were 2-4 mins apart when I would walk. Sitting went back to 6-8 mins apart. The app would tell us to go to hospital when I would walk but didn’t help me because when we went I was 2cm. I see this app could help first time parents. For me it was helpful seeing the difference when sitting and walking. I paid for the week. Not expensive.

Quick and mindless tap
During each contraction I just wanted to focus on breathing. I was able to do that with the click of “start” on the button this app. It was just easy to end the contraction duration and not worry about manually calculating how long it was or far apart they were. One thing I didn’t like was the prompt after marking the contraction, reading something like “this was likely a practice contraction” based on the time spray from last contraction. In reality I was in active labor despite the far time apart.

Extortionate subscription
Watch out… Roped me into a subscription at £2.99 A WEEK! Was very unclear this was a rolling subscription, feels very unethical
Needs more free features
It is very frustrating that this app doesn’t allow you to alter or edit a contraction unless you pay for the app. It’s easy to get distracted and you mess up one timing because you forget to turn off the timer and your numbers are all skewed.
Not crazy about the lack of ability to edit
I need to edit my contractions at times as I will accidentally leave the timer running or start it too late and it doesn’t allow for this without glitching. It also I believe has it set to military time. I can’t edit that
