I find this to be a good solution for phone-wide blocking of malware and/or ads via DNS, or just to have encrypted DNS, which is a recommended security practice. It can be used with their free DNS servers if you don’t want to subscribe. You will have to go to their website and do some reading about how it all works. Probably not for beginners unless they have someone to guide them.

Great DNS Service
Simple and easy to configure, just type in your resolver ID (created when you make a profile) and go. I use the HTTP/3 VPN configuration for the best performance for my setup. Otherwise just choose OS Native (Default Setting)
$60 a year? Too expensive.
