Amazingly responsive devs! Crashing bug RESOLVED

[Update: the creators fixed the bug and the app works perfectly now! Appreciate the excellent service!]

[Original: The second I finish building a seed the app crashes. Waste of money. Will update if issue is resolved.]

Response from developer

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! There is now an update (2.72) available, which should resolve your issue. There's also an updated visualization showing which layers of the seed are outside the current simulation bounds in case you are running a simulation with less than 12 height.

Great development and excellent updates

I have found this game relaxing and fun to mess around with when I’m bored. The simulations recent update made it work pretty good with my insane need to keep upping the simulations size. (:

Updates have made the app better

Getting a response from the developer on my suggestions was a pleasant surprise! It feels like they really care about user experience. Now, after trying out the changes, I can genuinely say my time with the app has become much more enjoyable. The improved camera and UI, along with those cool new simulation styles, make me appreciate the effort they've put into making it better. Thumbs up to the devs for being responsive and making a difference!

The procession of the simulation is indeed automatic like in other implementations of the game of life. However, there are various different options in the app you can use to affect how the simulation will unfold: 1) Rules for cell death, birth and survival will determine what kind of patterns will emerge in the simulation 2) The starting seed will create the live cells from which the simulation begins 3) Simulation geometries can display the simulation in different geometrical orientations like the galaxy, field or cube 4) Visual settings will affect how the cells in the simulation are rendered and what kind of animations are used to transition cell states We hope this helps you to get the most out of the application!

The computer does all the work

You cannot edit your own payers or try stuff it’s all automated.. not worth the money

Dope AF

The classic g as me of life with more dimensions. Play in a cube, field, galaxy and more. Easy to use and endless possibilities.

Terrible

It’s not the real game it doesn’t follow Conways rules it’s just random blocks

Response from developer

The app supports all possible rules including the ones John Conway used in his original Game of Life. If you'd like to see the original Game of Life in the app, you should adjust one of the three dimensions to size 1, making the simulation flat 2D. Then you'd apply the rules 2 for "live" and 3 for "birth". Hope this helps.
