Ughh
I love this games but the crashes and glitching is terrible. Wastes my bags every round.
Cash grab
The game is fun for the first 20 or so minutes. Right now the theme is "star chef" and it's a direct copy of Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. They have the same music and setup.
It's a arcade cook & serve game where you pick, prep, cook, and assemble each dish correctly to the customers before time runs out. It can get quite challenging once there's a lot of dishes the customer can order from.
The issue I have with this game is how hard they push in-game purchases with real money. While you can play without doing so, it is largely limited by time and real money.
For example if you want to customize Flo the character, you can't just buy the outfit pieces. You have to spin a wheel for a CHANCE to get randomized tokens towards the piece you want. Randomized means the tokens you do get are in random quantities and may not be specific to your outfit.
There is no option to pay so you can just continuously play without limit. If you want to keep playing once you reach a certain threshold, you can top-up with gold that runs out quickly so you'd have to pay money for it.
The kitchen upgrades & all other upgrades only gets you so far before requiring an absurd amount to upgrade. An amount that if you don't want to grind for days on end you'll have to spend real money to upgrade.
There are buffs, other restaurants, other kitchens, multitude of outfits, etc. and if you want access to these tough luck you're gonna have to spend months or years to dig into them unless you *drumroll* ... spend real money.
It's a shame a great mobile game of this caliber turned into such a money grab.
I think there's room for finance in a game and I also know where it's too much. Diner Dash managed to reach beyond Greed.
Easy uninstall. No debate at all. Thanks for 20 minutes of play. Had you not make everything about money I would have purchased a couple things to keep playing but I'm not going to invest as much as going out to eat to play fantasy restaurant owner.

great
cooking dash is really fun and challenging but in a good way i’m glad i got it!
So stimulating!7
This is my favorite game. I love the coordination and creativity. I could spend hours playing. The best part of this game is that their customer service is impeccable. Their support team is immediately responsive and most of all positive. They don’t embrace excuses...only solutions. ROCK ON GLU!!!
UPDATE:
I’ve been playing this game for years and so addicted. They also created Diner Dash Adventures. That game rocks as well. Glu Mobile is creative and responsive. If I have a problem, I contact them and they respond immediately...unlike some others that take days and give excuses for the problems you encounter. I LOVE GLU MOBILE...THEY ARE THE BOMB!!!

Awesome game
I am absolutely addicted to this game. It’s a great way to pass the time. Their graphics are awesome. There’s so many levels.
Great could be better
Great game, just don’t get to earn enough gold to upgrade anything.
It’s a really fun game but they just have to ruin it with their greed
It really is the closest thing I can find to burger restaurant but since they stopped adobe flash I’ve been missing a lot of childhood games. Was honestly enjoying this so much until - as another review mentions - that it’s so hard to progress without tons of gold to be able to upgrade on your food items/equipment. Another game just ruined by greed. I’ve spent at least 20 pounds on buying more vip passes to do the season finale 5-in-a-row wins as well but you it’s impossible without upgrading your equipment so just leaves you stuck (unless you wanna spend 50 pounds obviously). Just ended up deleting it or would have spent a lot more money than I did.

No money, no progress
It’s a nice game but I’m stuck . If I don’t spend money I can’t progress. I don’t recommend
Need to pay to play
Cash grab. You can’t pass levels without paying for game currency.
Fun
I wish you could get a push notification when a recipe finishes.

Excellent game
I look forward to playing this game every day. Always a fun time.
BORING
Repetitive daily tasks, incredibly boring, customer support is utterly dreadful and never sort anything
Still waiting on daily tasks not being either VIP or GIZA for 6 months!

Micro-transactions & Gambling Galore!
It plays more like Cake Mania than like the original Diner Dash. There’s literally a spin wheel cash machine to win a chance to get some tokens to unlock upgrades for the restaurant. This is literally gambling. Would not recommend this for anyone until the legal gambling age. It costs 75 tokens for the auto chef. You need to have 10 grocery bags to play a level. You get 40 grocery bags to start and it can increase depending on your restaurant level. You need a mix of coins and gold bars to upgrade the restaurant as well, which you can earn through playing levels or purchase with real money. Kinda disappointed this is the route Playfirst has gone after being adsorbed by Electronic Arts, but not surprised since this is EA we are talking about.

Endless loading screen
Love the game but it takes too long to load every time. Makes me not want to play it. Not only does it take long but 90% of the time it’s an endless loading screen. Maybe the outcome is different for other people , but that’s the only reason what’s literally stopping me from playing the game lol.
Please fix downloading bug
I have to wait upwards to 10-15 minutes for the game levels to download and keep my phone on the screen. It’s ridiculous. I spend a lot of money towards this game.
