What's New in Cookoff

2.10

August 19, 2026

Three big ones this time. PUT YOUR LOGO ON IT Got artwork for your cook-off? Add it once and it shows up everywhere your event does - on your phone, on your guests' phones, and on the results page at the end. Crop it right in the app. If you don't add one, nothing looks any different. SEE WHAT PEOPLE ARE BRINGING The dish list now sorts itself into categories and tells you how many are in each, so a long list stays readable. It shows up before anyone has entered anything too, so your cooks can see what the categories are and pick something to make. ADD A JUDGE AFTER THINGS START Someone turns up late and hungry? You can get them into the voting once it is already going, without stopping the event or starting over. Also in this release: • The choices about who can add dishes, and what guests can see before voting, are all in one place now • Keep the dishes a surprise and they really are hidden - no names, no counts, no peeking • Pull down to refresh and your scores stay on screen instead of everything going blank • Ask for a sign-in email and you can see it worked, plus send another if it never turns up • Change your name and it updates on every dish you cooked, wherever it appears • Categories count things in your own words - "3 chilis", not "3 dishes" • More room on the dish list, and adding a dish is one smooth screen instead of two • Fixes for a settings screen that could spin forever, and buttons that looked broken when they weren't Happy cooking!

iOS’s Premier Cookoff tracker

This app is so helpful for tracking scoring for my annual cook off. We used to use paper and pen but it was confusing. This simplifies all the work.
