Not Good UI

UI could be better

Has potential but need to make user experience more simpler

This app has immense potential. In near future these app will be given preference mostly in developed countries. But I see major issue i.e user experience. The user experience is quite complex. Developer Need to keep minimum layout in one frame. Hope this app goes viral.

Convinced on idea but not on app user experience

After watching it on Shark Tank India, I downloaded the app and was initially convinced by the idea. However, after using it, I can say that the user experience is not well thought out. There should be a chat interface to help users easily record their savings. Additionally, there’s no way to track habits I’ve changed to improve my energy usage. The overall user experience is quite complex, even for a motivated individual.

Thanks for creating this.
user friendly interface (for a middle aged person)
I think it is important to add
1. Food- as the global meat industry is the second largest CO2 emitter
2. Our banking, investments and pensions-
Always follow the money to create change

I love the individual, country specific and global target
Keep up the good work!

Love it! More power to you!

Love the idea and the initiative. More power to you - the daughter-father team - who worked tirelessly to create this.

Cause is great but not the app

The cause is great and truly appreciated but the app gui is not great and it has lot a hitches while using… the stars is for the cause

Reviewing from individual stand point

The app is good for companies but isn’t at par for individual efforts. So much is done at small levels that creates big impact. Such as, There is no option of composting kitchen waste, recycling different materials instead of trashing it. No option for recording online order purchase (which is responsible for pollution- both air and plastic). Clearing mail box, 1 week on zero non-veg consumption.
I would really suggest you to add those as well. Because where do people add that this month they consumed resources less - even in terms of small purchases.

Maybe I’m being too harsh in judging the platform. Sorry about that. Though I love that someone is doing something about climate change but I could only use it when I saw a few more parameters. So whatever I noticed, I’ve mentioned here. Thankyou for doing something about climate change! More power to you.

Not Exciting

Very difficult to understand in layman terms and not at all engaging. Lots of enhancement needed to make understanding user friendly

UI needs major change.

I saw you on shark tank India and got this application.
As an avid user and developer of mobile applications, I appreciate when an app combines functionality with a clean and intuitive design. Unfortunately, this is where cool the globe falls short. The current user interface (UI) is a labyrinth of features that, while robust, are presented in a way that feels cluttered and overwhelming.

Navigating through the app's various functions is a challenge due to the lack of clear visual hierarchy and inconsistent design elements. The color scheme, though vibrant, does little to differentiate between interactive and non-interactive components, leading to confusion. Moreover, the typography choices contribute to the clutter, with varying font sizes and styles that disrupt the user's flow.

The app's complexity might cater to tech-savvy individuals, but for the average user, it's a daunting task to perform even simple actions. This steep learning curve significantly hampers the overall user experience.

**Recommendations:**
- **Simplify the layout**: Adopt a minimalist approach that focuses on user's most frequently used actions.
- **Improve navigation**: Implement a more intuitive navigation system that guides users through the app with ease.
- **Harmonize visual elements**: Establish a consistent design language that unifies colors, fonts, and iconography.

In conclusion, cool the globe possesses the potential to be a powerhouse in its category. However, without major UI improvements, it risks alienating a significant portion of its user base. A redesign focused on simplicity and usability could transform this app from a diamond in the rough to a polished gem.

I hope this review encapsulates the concerns regarding the UI and provides constructive feedback for improvement.

Response from developer

Let’s make it more intuitive and user friendly

I'm really intrigued by the concept of this app and recognize its potential to bring immense value to society. However, I've encountered some challenges while using it. Firstly, the data input process is quite complex, and I believe incorporating a chatbot to guide users through initial data collection could greatly improve the user experience. Secondly, I find the overall app experience a bit cumbersome, as it doesn't engage me enough to fully grasp CTG's mission and actively participate in it.
