App not connecting to Bluetooth
Music is broken
This app is great, it lets me do more than I thought it could. I can upload my own photos and gifs, as well as edit them and make my own graphics and animations.
The one thing I'm bummed about is that the music doesn't work. The only song that plays is the pre-programmed jingle bells song, the rest of my library is either silent, or makes a long buzzing noise. Either way, music won't play so I can't sync it up to the graphics.

Update broke it
The most recent update broke a key feature in the app and is practically unusable if you plan on making your own animations.
Easy to use but lacking basic text operability
1. There is no comma (punctuation mark) to use in the text.
2. There is a character limit for each text message, but it doesn’t tell me what it is.
3. You can only have one line of text in the badge at a time. I would like to include several sentences.
4. I can’t reach the developer’s website, so I hope they read the comments and help me out! Thank you.

Good could be better
App has a lot of built in pics and gifs which is cool. What would be AMAZING is if they allowed us to share our creations. I use this at work and would love to send my creations to a college for when I’m out they can update the ticker. Food for thought

My bluethooth can’t even find your device. Your instructions don’t say to push any buttons on the LED display so I can connect to it through the app. I would rather throw it away before I give it to someone else. There is no way to connect at all especially when there is no button on your device to have the Bluetooth to pick it up

The app is good. Definitely needs an update with more pre-programmed quick signs. Otherwise printing, your own messages is great.
Clock function is non existent
I wish the app actually looked like the photos In the App Store. I can’t find the clock function anywhere or the discover tab.

Will not connect to iPhone 16
Worked well with an LED hat on my previous iPhone. Recognizes the hat now but will not connect.
This means there is no way to change the message which makes the app useless for my use case.
There are fairly extensive troubleshooting methods in the documentation but some of them are nonsensical like powering off the device before connecting (the device is not transmitting when powered off so cannot connect to anything).

Needs Work
App rarely ever updates. No way to share animations to download. My biggest dislike is that it displays the loading percent on the led bar when you load an image or graffiti.

Love this app but have some suggestions
I love this app and with my LED sign you can have (almost) infinite possibilities! And works really well on an iPad with an Pencil 😃. I have 2 suggestions to make the sign even better • #1 is having more colors like orange or purple because that will look really good in Halloween signs and also more possibilities. I feel like the hardware is in the sign • #2 is having Live Activities sync to the sign like a countdown timer that you can customize or the score of a game. Overall I love this app and sign, 5 stars from me 😎

Doesn’t Update- Basic Stuff

Makes you verify your account to download it and then says it’s $0 but charges your card almost $120
Lacking some features but works
Would be nice if it didnt pause music when you open the app. Would also be nice if it didnt automatically display the last message. A setting to toggle this behavior would be good.
Why wouldn’t you want to use this product?
Because the product is slow when you need to display something, it has very bad resolution, barely enough features. Also, if you’re looking at programming it? Forget it. If your phone or iPad falls asleep while you’re doing something else before saving, it will wipe everything you worked on. I programmed an entire sequence from scratch, went to the bathroom, and when I came back my phone was sleeping and when I turned it on, I was wiped. I cannot believe how incompetent this app is and how no one has fixed these bugs. I don’t believe an update will come anytime soon. So BEWARE. Here are some other bugs I would like to call out:
The app takes so long to use, deletes things randomly, undo button deletes tons of things that shouldn’t have been undone, redo button doesn’t work at all, app constantly crashes and no one can figure out why.
Really, whoever makes these products needs to sort themselves out. But in the meantime, just find something else that works better than this.

I use CoolLED1248 daily for my mobile brand Big Red Connect, serving the OKC metro. The app is stable, simple, and reliable — love the font control and preview mode. Bluetooth has been flawless.
That said, here are a few feature ideas that would make this a next-level tool for professionals:
1. Message Scheduler – Set messages to change automatically by time of day or day of week (e.g., day vs. night use).
2. Auto-Rotate Presets – Let multiple saved messages scroll on a loop every few minutes without manual switching.

Very small strip
I received my light strip after seeing a video of it on someone’s windshield as 2 giant eyes all the way across the front of the vehicle. When I opened the package the strip is only 18 inch’s and wouldn’t even go half way across my car’s windshield. Very disappointing and I don’t see anything saying you can link 2 strips together so this looks like a waste of money.
