There is no account, no sign-in and no server. Your library sits in this app's private storage on your iPhone and nowhere else. Reading text out of photos and video uses Apple's on-device Vision framework; dictation uses your iPhone's own speech recognizer. Nothing is uploaded for either one. No ads, no analytics SDKs, no tracking. The whole app works in airplane mode.
Back up your library to a file whenever you want — entries, tags and your attached photos and clips, all in one file. It goes to your share sheet, and where it lands from there is entirely your business.
