Worth the try
Core of the Heart has helped me a lot in the past few months to grow closer to GOD. I have been taught more through this app than my entire time in church. My favorite part about this app is the gospel bot where you can ask difficult questions and get scripture based answers. Highly recommend giving this app a try!!!

Gospel Centered App That You Can Apply Today
I grew up Christian but after college I stopped going to church. I thought I could be Christian on my own. By the grace of God my cousin told me about Johnny Chang. I am back at church and in the word daily because of Pastor and the coth staff. No longer doom scrolling but reaching for the bible. Here’s the thing, just open the app read the bible or watch live/archived bible studies and group mentorships. I honestly never envisioned myself doing this daily. Like, comment and subscribe. I absolutely love the COTH Daily Bible app. I have never read the Bible as consistently or learned as much from Scripture as I have since using it. It has helped me understand God’s Word in a deeper, more personal way and has made spending time in the Bible something I truly look forward to.

I love the app but
I’ve been using Johnny’s app for over four months now and I’ve noticed a lot of changes throughout the process. I understand that he puts a lot of effort in time into building the app, but it went from having a bunch of access to the to limitation based on what subscription you have however right now, especially I can’t even use him once a month and I really need to connect with the gospel bot because he’s extremely resourceful but every time a month comes up, it tells me I have to wait for the following month to reuse it again meanwhile, I haven’t even had a single conversation

The lord has been putting this into my heart to reach out and seek his wisdom through the word, I just had a horrible night with my wife, but I believe the lord used it as a break through I’ve been praying for. I’m looking forward to using technology for the glory of god and spread the wisdom the lord has provided me through all means of receiving. Honestly, I think the app itself is really well made, and I genuinely like what Johnny Chang teaches and the way he uses his platform to spread the Word of God. But I was honestly shocked when I saw the price was nearly $90 a month. I understand that creating an app, producing content, and maintaining a platform costs money, but when the purpose is to help people grow closer to God, I personally believe there should be a different approach. There are pastors, mentors, and creators who have spent their own money creating resources simply so people who are lost, searching, or trying to strengthen their relationship with God can have access to that guidance without a financial barrier. I’m not saying people should never charge for their work, and I’m not saying anyone who uses the app is doing something wrong. My concern is the principle behind putting such a high price on spiritual guidance. When someone is genuinely seeking God, especially someone who may already be struggling in life, charging nearly $90 every month feels less like an opportunity to serve and more like placing a financial barrier in front of someone who is trying to find their way. Maybe I’m looking at it differently, but since when should getting closer to God depend on how much money you can afford to spend? When you walk into a church, you aren’t handed a bill at the door. You’re welcomed. You’re taught. You’re encouraged. You’re given a place to grow. That’s the kind of spirit I believe should be behind sharing the Word of God. If the app were $5 or $10 a month, I could understand it much more, but nearly $90 a month is difficult for me to justify. This isn’t about saying, “If you don’t like it, don’t use it.” It’s about questioning whether this is truly the right way to make spiritual guidance accessible to people who need it.

I am two years into learning about Christianity ever since i came across Johnny Chang and his podcast it changed my perspective as if I was a new person. I was in the livestream when Johnny streamed "using COTH daily for 30 days" it was the most peace I had. This app is truly amazing and I pray many people try it.

This app is game changing and the creators have such a passion for helping others receive the Gospel. I’ve followed them since before the development of this app, back when Johnny and his dad built the setup for the podcast. They’ve came so far! The relationships between him, Jeremy and Aaron keep you laughing, their messages keep you unlocking biblical lessons, unlearning the worldly garbage we are saturated in and this brings you scripture with BARS to combat satan with, everyday. Love these guys to fullest. Thank you for all that you do. I hope to meet them one day!

Real practical and loving
This makes Gods word easier to practically apply in every day life
Good but one problem
I’m giving a 5 star review even though the app is misleading. Your first 20 or so chats with the bot are free and then without warning it runs out “for the month” but two months have come and gone and I have not received anymore chats. It just says come back next month again. The app doesn’t owe me anything so I’m not complaining I’m simply suggesting it change so that you either get the promised chats per month or it doesn’t say you’ll get more without paying. Either way is fine just pick one.

After hearing Jeremy say leave a review since the app has been out I’d figure I’d finally do it. Not just this app, the discord, the Bible class, the podcast is everything you need. Although im in my early 30s I don’t have social media, I didn’t see Johnny on TikTok or IG. I started reading my Bible 2 years ago and prayed for a Bible class, looked every where locally but I wasn’t plugged in to a church, I prayed for months. My YouTube algorithm at the time was not Christian based, but for some reason I saw Pastor randomly a few times for some reason and over looked it a few times. I thought what does this guy really know about God (if I’m being honest) and one day I was at work and said let me just give one clip a chance. Before that day I thought sure God is good and I’m sure he knows me but (my grandparents were catholic and taught us about Angels very early on) God probably just has an angel looking after me. That day Pastor explained how much God loves me. That broke me, to know God really loves me so much that he sent his Son to die for me. The last year in the Bible class has been the best year of my life, funny enough during some of the most trying times of my life up till now. I was really struggling before it and I even ran away from it for 1 month, but I had to come back. I am so thankful for COTH and for Pastor. You really should download this app, now I couldn’t imagine my life without COTH. Thank you Jesus

Using Gospel Bot has been such a great grounding tool on moments when my mind begins to spiral. It’s quick with gospel centered answers and points to scripture that helps ease the mind.
